Those aren't photoshop filters, :(. They're screentones with layer affects.
I thought the text made perfect sense.

@Mikami, I try keep a Pokemon signature on a Pokemon board. It isn't anything against you personally. Thanks for the 5/10, my signature is simply to spread word - not look really pretty. It was better than a two-liner it was before.

If you were on an any other forum I'd give you 6/10 simply for signature quality. The text underneath brought it down towards that! A piece of text inside it shouldn't hurt IMHO.
There may not be a rule but since it is my rating...You could say it is my own personal rule. You're right, cigerettes aren't exactly aggressive in themselves, it's just the image that doesn't sit right with me.

I think if you position the text to the left (or right) it would make it more seamless. Here's an example of what I mean by seamless:

5/10, again. I'm just a little hot tempered about stuff I work on myself. It's fine. XD And I don't really like placing text in my banners, but maybe next time. Also, I have a severe lack of decent images (and a knack for being picky about them as well) that I can use for themes, so I take what I can get that I like. Thank you. :)
