Should I Purchase?

Hey I'm new to the forums and am an old fan of the Pokemon world. The last game I played was gold/silver.

I was wondering if I should buy Diamond/Pearl tomorrow. I am really tempted and after hearing everything about it (esp. the Wi-Fi trade and battle) I really want to get it.

But I have a few questions first.
I heard somewhere that you can re-battle the gym leaders after you beat them. Is that true?

Are you limited to just Sinnoh? Or can you travel back to Johto and Kanto at all?



I'll probably buy it tomorrow along with a D/S and then I can become a more active member hehe. THANKS.

Yeah you can rebattle the gym leaders as far as I know. But you can't travel back to Johto or Kanto, although you can get all of those pokemon from the earlier games though.

And the wifi is great :) Definetly worth the money tbh.

Anyways, the other questions have been pretty much answered, but if you liked Gold/Silver, you'll probably like this, too, since things haven't really changed that much. If you don't have a mindless fixation along the lines "everything-pokemon-is-the-sux", I'm sure it's worth your money. :)

Also through the Pal Park. After you beat the Elite 4 and get the National Dex, you'll be able to migrate all your critters from the GBA games to D/P.

But going back on topic, yeah, you should totally get it. XD

Uh, oh ok sorry. I just figured because you could in the 3rd gens that it would just be continued when you beat the E4. I don't get why they'd remove it.

hahah well thanks everyone for the advice I went and bought it today.
