Inbreeding?

Is there such thing as inbreeding pokemon? Because in sapphire I bred my female skitty with a plusle (or minun, can't remember), and got a male skitty. Would it be advisable to *not* breed the two skitty together?

You CAN do it, and there's no penalty, either. But the way you put it...I try not to think about it...
