HackMew's Tools Factory
ROM Hacking Made Easy

I know, it's been a while since last time I posted something. But don't stand on ceremony! I've opened this thread to post all my tools.
So stay tuned and check as often as possible this thread for updates.
As always, I'm open to feedback and improvement ideas, as well as bug report.

All the tools below are ordered alphabetically. All of them have respective source included (*1). They don't need any extra DLL or OCX files in order to work, just the standard VB6 Runtime files (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/info.aspx?na=90&p=&SrcDisplayLang=en&SrcCategoryId=&SrcFamilyId=7b9ba261-7a9c-43e7-9117-f673077ffb3c&u=http%3a%2f%2fdownload.microsoft.com%2fdownload%2 f5%2fa%2fd%2f5ad868a0-8ecd-4bb0-a882-fe53eb7ef348%2fVB6.0-KB290887-X86.exe) unless noted otherwise.
Plus, they all fully support the XP Visual style. Moreover, if you want to translate them in your language, PM me.

/Sneaky/ - HackMew - knows why :P

Well.. I just used APE's Color Picker to edit a color on the titlescreen.. and I was dissapointed that you couldn't enter the GBA Value..
So, it would be nice if you could add that function.
It's handy when you want to make a color a lil' darker/lighter and you only have the GBA Value (or just want to be quick)

I don't know why I didn't think it should be made! XD
Thank you very much for the suggestion, sure. I'll start working on it right now.
Check for updates very often and you'll be satisfacted ;)

EDIT: I'm ready! Download APE again from the new, updated attachment.

TO ALL: if you already have APE, it's better if you download the updated version. Happy Downloading!

I had a little idea for APE. How about making changeable INI files, a bit like Advance Map? Then, we can enter offsets of palettes we often use. That way, you can easily select the palette you need from a menu without having to look for it first. It might be handy for newbies!

Anyway, thanks a lot for the tools, they really helped me!

Hey there! Seeing as the Overworld Editor is the tool I most use, I always wondered why there are some sprites missing, like the hero flying with the bird, or the surfing sprites (signs and there's other stuff I think). Would that be hard to implement? (because... It's boring doing that stuff on a Tile Editor, as TLP, and I think it would be appreciated if you could add them, to help lazy people mainly, such as myself... jojo...)

Yeah,Zel's right, it is very hard trying to sprite using tile layer pro especially with those crazy rbg colours. Someone should updated the tool, please!!

What you get are offsets, as you know. And yes, you can use an hex editor. But you can also use another program, it depends on what you're going to do.

I'm sure that you aren't using the version 1.0 of the ROMs, probably you have v1.1 or 1.2 instead. To solve the problem you can do the following:

use the version 1.0 of the ROM. To check the version you can use RHEA;
-or-
replace the offsets contained in the "Sprites.ini" file with the appropriate ones for v1.1/1.2.

P.S. This error happens only with English ROMs. Versions 1.1/1.2 in other languages have the same offsets and therefore they will work fine.

how exactly does SMCA work?

When I tried to remove the truck, you start in your room, but the screen still shakes and your rival lives in the same house as you.

If you choose a boy, MAY's sprite becomes a boy and she lives in your house and vice versa.

I think that the Readme is enough, isn't it?

Anyway, all hacking tools should not be used in a slapdash way, otherwhise you could have serious problem.

Regarding SMCA, I never told anyone that can fully remove the truck. I'm still working on that...
Also keep in mind that if you change the starting location, all the starting script have to be rewritten in the new place, of course. And you can't pretend that SMCA will do that for you.

I read the readme for the overworld editor and I didnt see anything about making a custom pallet, is there a way to make a custom pallet in overworld editor?

I think APE is just a way better to make custom palettes. Anyway, when importing some bitmaps with Oveworld Editor, you can import just the palette.

Yes, I just started back up with hacking again. Looking for some tools I found this page. All of these programs are well developed. I'm converting one of the files to fit VB 2005 Express Edition and I will check out the source code. Great job on these, the style and placement of everything makes it a VERY fun program to use.

As I wrote in the first post, you could need the VB6 Runtime files. Go to the first post for further information.

It doesn't come with that dll since it's a part of the VB6 Runtime files. That's it.

As I wrote many times, you cannot fully remove the truck for now. Maybe a better solution for you could be to change the starting position after the truck, instead.

So how do I use APE? I just want to know how to edit the main characters palette.

The readme explains well how to search a palette inside a ROM. Just read it.

Also, the wording of your post was rather rude; one of our rules here at PC is to respect all members. If you want to offer constructive criticism, that's fine, but your post was rather blunt and spammish.

Well that is simple, download -Advance Text- from the PokeCommunity Toolbox, then when it is done downloading, open your ROM, type in the words that appear on the intro in the "Search" tab, click "write to INI" then edit it. Well, ".pal" files are not all the sames, even if they have the same extesion. But, as the program tell you, when importing/exporting a palette you can choose the "PaintShop Palette". What you loaded is not a PaintShop Palette, obviously. I guess you exported that .pal file from VBA, isn't it? Well, export the palette again as a PaintShop format and then import it on APE.

When I use your UnLZ Gameboy to change a pokemons sprite its all messed up. How do I fix this from happening?

Edit - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fCdIvDQYHtA

I saw your video and I understand why you get the error... You simply unchecked the "Auto abort" option and you imported a really big sprite ovewriting some important data. Also, remember that when you import something it has to be the same dimensions (width/height) as the original one. And when it say that's too big, instead of simply unchecking the Auto abort option, repoint the image in some place full of FFs.

Hmmm all these tools are great but, will you be adding 2nd Gen tools? Cause' I need a 2nd Gen map editor and overworld sprite editor.

@JoyRide The same thing happens to me when I change the trainer sprite, when i view it on the trainer card its leg is like screwed up.

Well, since I hack the Advance generation, probably I won't make any 2nd generation tools. Also, for a 2nd gen map/graphics editor google GoldMap or ask in the Simple Questions thread.
Regarding the second question, see my answer above.

You simply can't. That's it.

Also, for any other questions not related in any way to my tools mustn't be posted in this thread. Never.
Think again before posting something spammish.
For general questions there's the Simple Questions one. Period.

Go ahead and make your poll Hackmew, I told you what I thought people would need, but it's better to ask the people directly (better results that way)

But I'm still more interested on that other thing you're preparing (which is gonna be really useful for me :D), hope you decide to show it sometime soon ;)

Keep working, keep working! :P

OK, thanks everyone for the comments!

If you're interested in the poll, you have to read the following:

Well done! Let's start: I'll explain you how the poll will work. Below you can find a list of ideas. All you have to do is to order them in the release order you prefer.
This will help me to focus on the tools people really want. And therefore to make them happier! XD
Since I'll take this poll seriously, choose carefully and write the reason too. Also, you can't vote more than one time, obviously.
Well, the choosen tool in the first place will get 7 points, the second will get 6 points, ... and so on until the last one which will get just 1 point.
So each tool will have a total number of points and at the end of the poll we'll see which tool will be released first, second, ... and last. :P

The poll starts today, 5th October 2007, and it will end on 5th December 2007. The poll length could be expanded/reduced along the way depending on the people's feedback.

The list format is:

Tool Name
Brief Description

Finally, here's the list:

Titlescreen Cry Changer
This tool will change the cry you can hear on a FR/LG ROM just after the titlescreen.

Shinyzer
This tool will be useful to create shiny wilbattles in seconds on both R/S/E and FR/LG ROMs.

Strengther
This tool will help you to easily change the weakness/strength of each Pokémon type.

eXtreme Script Editor
Anything you ever wanted on script editors will be present in this tool: multiple script handling, batch compiling, command reference, debugging, integrated hex/dec calculator.
Plus a small notes function, line numbering, a great command database too, and much, much more.

Advance Item
It will help you to edit anything related to the items: name, price, where it goes in your bag, and more.

Pokémon Editor Advance
As the name suggests, this one will edit the Pokédex entries, learnable attacks, stats and a lot more. Not just a tiny, limited editor.

Advance Trainer
Think about PET. Now, imagine it totally improved. That's Advance Trainer.

NOTE: the name of the tools listed above could change on the final release.

Your the greatest!!

Well heres my form:

My graduatory

1st postion: Xtreme script editor

2nd postion:Pokemon editor advance
reason: It sounds realll cool. It will be real handy to change the compostion of the pokemon

3rd postion: Titlescreen cry changer
reason: It is a really handy tool cos i cant change the cry of the pokemon lol.

4th postion:Advance item
reason: It sounds quite cool. but not needing it at the moment.

5th position: Strengther
reason: It sounds very useful!!

6th postion:Advance trainer
reason: sounds real cool but i can just use pet XD

1st: eXtreme Script Editor
Reason: By all you've told me about its features it's like a really improved version of Scripted with not looking as a Pokescript, which sounds perfect for me.

2nd: Advance Trainer
Reason: I'm so tired of editing the trainers with hex or PET (which usually has a lot of problems depending the version. If you manage to do this one, don't forget something to be able to save and load the set of trainers easily (this would really help me when editing trainers for my SGX)
Editing them with hex is way more easy? Yes, I want to see you guys when you have to change as many trainers as I. It gets confusing after editing the 100th trainer :P

3rd: Shinyzer
Reason: Well, a lot of people will find this way more easy than ASM.

4th: Pokemon Editor Advance
Reason: An all-in-one Pokemon editor sounds interesting, as long as the program's size doesn't go way too big (as long as it's compatible with any version, which you always do, it'll be helpful)

5th: Advance Item
Reason: Well, even though it sounds interesting, more info would be needed, because you could do a lot of things to modify an item. Better take care of the other ones.

6th: Strengther
Reason: I think Coolboyman's explanations are enough for now. In any case, I don't think a lot of hackers will want to change the types.

7th: Titlescreen Cry changer
Reason: I don't have any need for it, and it can be done by simple modifying an hex value on your rom and voila! (of course, I know it only for FR, and because M_X told me :P)

How about adding that thing I told you about editing the titlescreen graphics? People always ask me about that ;)

Happy... Programming?

My Graduatory

1st Place: eXtreme Script Editor
Reason: Sounds really cool! I think its going to be better than the old one
2nd Place: Pokemon Editor Advanced
Reason: Sounds like a good idea, without that you have to use multiple programs
3rd Place: Advanced Trainer
Reason: If it works with all the ROMs, then this woukd be better than PET
4th Place: Shinyzer
Reason: Sounds good, and I think I'll need it because I intend on having a shiny Pokemon battle in my hack
5th Place: Strengther
Reason: Sounds good, but other programs can do that too
6th Place: Advance Item
Reason: You can do that with Advanced Mart
7th Place: Titlescreen Cry Editor
Reason: As Zel said , you can do it with hex

1st Place:Advanced Trainer
Reason: Non-buggy "PET" please!

2nd Place: eXtreme Script Editor
Reason: I'm good with scripting but it tends to get confusing sometimes. So I'd like to see how this will turn out.

3rd Place: Shinyzer
Reason: Yay, shiny encounters.

4th Place: Titlescreen Cry Editor
Reason: You can easily do it in hex, but oh well. But maybe this should be more of a Title Screen Editor (including cry editing). But that's just me...:P

5th Place: Advance Item
Reason: I like this idea. Hopefully we can edit the empty slots for items so we can make more.

6th Place: Pokemon Editor Advanced
Reason: Sounds pretty good but I won't need much use for it.

7th Place:Strengther
Reason: Eh, I can't imagine it being used much.

Well, it's great to count on a developper really interesed about the feedbacks. ;)
Let's go to the sondaggio.
My Graduatory
1st Place: XSE
Reason: First the currents databases are really obsoletes and scripted is "buggie" with trainer and pokemon battles.
2nd Place: Advanced Trainer
Reason: The same that Zel, it's annoying to change it in Hex. First to seek the name in Pet, copy the pokemon offset and change it in thingy... so boring. And Pet doesn's search downcase letters nor accents nor the eñe so in a lot of cases you have to search the name manually...
3rd Place: Pokémon Editor Advance
Reason: It's good to have all in the same tool. Pokeampifier 3.2 lacks the habilities, egg groups and sex distribution (%male-female) but anyway you can use base-edit.
4, 5 and 6th Places: Titlescreen Cry Changer, Shinyzer, Advance Item
Reason: They are very useful and will be succesful, but it's use is sporadic. For instance I've only changed an item when i made that TM13 Ice Beam cannot be hold by a pokemon nor toss away. I mean they could be put together in a sort of "suite".
7th Place: Strengther
Reason: For me, change that data it's a little antipokémon, but it can be useful for customize the avalaible "???" type (only used for eggs and curse)

Well, in general, all those tools are really useful but, wow, you are making a lot of tools.
Have you thinked in create a Hackmew's suite for join all together? There is strength in numbers.

My Graduatory
1st Place: eXtremeScriptEditor
Reason: The current scripting tools are sub-par, at best. We need a bug-free, updated scripting tool!
2nd Place: Advance Trainer
Reason: PET is really buggy, and hex editing is a hassle.
3rd Place: Shinyzer
Reason:This will help out many people who intend to put in shiny battles in his/her hack
4th Place: /Advance Item
Reason:Advance Item would be really useful for people editing items in their hacks (They are tied for third with usefulness with me)
5th Place: Pokemon Editor Advance
Reason: I don't really have a use for it, but seeing how adding DP Pokémon is popular...
6th Place: Titlescreen Cry changer
Reason: Well, editing the cry of the Pokémon in the beginning is a very minor detail.
7th Place: Strengther
Reason: I don't really see a use for this program, even though some people might.

I do have a little suggestion (It is just that, a suggestion. No need to feel obligated). Maybe a complete tileset editor with palette changer?

Reason:I'm happy with hex for this. But some day's I'll be lazy, and this will be great for those days.

5th Place: Titlescreen Cry Changer

My Graduatory
1st Place: eXtreme Script Editor
Reason: As many said, current ones don't work always properly, especially the database aren't always clear.
2nd Place: Advance Trainer
Reason: Same as above: too many problems for such a requested tool.
3rd Place: Shinyzer
Reason: Lot of people would love this. ASM scripting is not easy at all.
4th Place: Pokemon Editor Advance
Reason: Not on the first positions because lot of programs already exist. still really useful because you put in all the functions in a single program.
5th Place: Advance Item
Reason: Useful tool not created yet. Still less necessary as the others.
6th Place: Strenghter
Reason: The tutorial is enough. but a tool making it quicker may be appreciated and may improve the hacking this feature. I'd recommend adding also the function to hack types' names ;)
7th Place: TitleScreen Cry Changer
Reason: Least requested tool. and a simple hex tutorial would be enough, i suppose.

Suggestion: a TitleScreen Changer. changing all the graphics is something a lot of people ask for. Also some editor for the attack properties, i know A-tack but not everything is done properly.

My Graduatory
1st Place:eXtreme Script Editor
Reason: A better version of ScriptEd and PokeScript? What more can you say, hopefully it will be easy to compile and maybe decompile? This would be a great tool.
2nd Place: Advance Trainer
Reason: I'm not a fan of HEX, mainly because it takes time and PET is a bit glitchy, which I found out the hard way. If you made it easier and better, I would definately use it ;).
3rd Place: Shinyzer
Reason: I don't want to really have shiny battles, because I beleive it is like enhancing the game too much. Though this would be useful for other people.
4th Place: Pokemon Editor Advance
Reason: A program with the whole package would be very useful, especially when insterting D/P Pokemon into a game, which is very popular now.
5th Place: Titlescreen Cry Changer
Reason: Well, it would be useful in later stages of someones hack, because alot of people are willing to make their game have a better presentation.
6th Place:Advance Item
Reason: I like the idea, but many people don't really care about the items x]. Maybe just when your changing a few things, but this can be done with Hex, right?
7th Place:Strengther
Reason: I don't really think this is necessary.. I like the normal strengths plus small changes can be made with A-Tack.

3rd Place: Titlescreen Cry Changer
Reason: As far as I know, there's no (easy) way to do this. And this would be useful in many hacks =D
4th Place: Advance Item
Reason: Nice, but it could be done with A-Mart too.
5th Place: Advance Pokémon
Reason: There's already Pokémon Amplifier...
6th Place: Strengther
Reason: Changing the types kinda ruins te game imo... =/
7th Place: Shinyzer

Why just the cry, uh?
Have you at least a minimal idea about the difficulty of the program you're requesting? I guess not.
There's no source code for Cyclone and I would have to rewrite it totally from scratch. And unLZ has no source as well, by the way. So quite difficult, indeed.
Also, changing the cry involves a bit of ASM too and it's useful only on FR/LG ROMs while changing the rest of the titlescreen is important on both R/S/E and FR/LG ROMs.

Hackmew answered this in reply to one of your posts in the Script Requests thread...
Yes, it's not a script since it's ASM. The Y position can't be edited though since it's calculated depending on the map height. The X position, instead, can be fully edited and the updated version of SMCA supports it. So basically, it's impossible. Just set up your map to allow for the default y-position.

On a more general note, I've found these programs useful (and the sources were beneficial when I was trying to pick up the basics of vB). Nice work.

Oh, and before I forget...
My Graduatory
1st Place: Advance Item
Reason: This is the tool that I would find the most use of as I don't know the format of the items in hex and there isn't really much of a tool for this yet, you have to use several different tools.
2nd Place: Titlescreen Cry Changer
Reason: While I can already change it to within the first 251 with a simple byte-change, I'd be interested if there was a way using ASM to make it a Hoenn Pokemon (or indeed, any pokemon with number > 255)
3rd Place: eXtreme Script Editor
Reason: Although I'm too used to dynamic offsets in Pokescript to change, the commands database is outdated for both it and ScriptDec, so I'd mainly need this one to get new commands to update the Pokescript database with. If I ever decide to try out static offsets this would be useful also.
4th Place: Pokémon Editor Advance
Reason: The various versions of Pokemon Amplifier modifies most of this already, but there seems to be gaps in each one...
5th Place: Shinyzer
Reason: Don't need this, already have code for shinies set up.
6th Place: Strengther
Reason: Don't need this, understand your types weakness/strength hex tutorial already.
7th Place: Advance Trainer
Reason: Don't need this, have fixed PET and custom software for this already.

I based my votes on my personal preferences rather than the community as a whole, but all of those programs would be useful in some way to the wider community, I'm sure.

I'm really interested in this as we need a working Trainer Editor. If I recall, those who have tried to find the coding in the game for the trainers, have failed to make some sort of editor out of them. Not to say you will of course. So I hope this one is possible. I got PET to work with Emerald, but the sprites were always mixed up even after dumping them. For example, I when trying to edit Flannery's Camerupt, it showed a Numel sprite. It always showed the sprite before. The trainer icon was wrong as well. So I hope your Trainer Editor will be grand. It's the only thing I need for my hack.

I've taken a look at your work, and it's very nice. Keep up the good work!

Well, unLZ is quite easy and there are some tutorials about it in the Documents and Tutorials section. Just take a look.
Also, it wouldn't make a lot of sense to make a new program especially designed to change Pokémon sprites since there's already unLZ.

Well, you won't have any luck finding tools that are associated to ROM hacking for Mac OSes, besides hex editors, emulators and patch creators. (check http://www.zophar.net/ for available tools)
The best way would be to either switch to a Windows system while ROM hacking or to install a Virtual PC program, that can emulate a Windows machine on your Mac, and makes the tools fully working for you.

My Graduatory
1st Place: Pokemon Editor Advance
Reason: I've found myself needing to change a Pokemon's sprite, or edit's it attacks alot, and this requires multiple glitchy programs, and Hex Edditing, so all together this would very helpful.
2nd Place: Advance Trainer
Reason: PET's layout and functionality is crap, and Hex Editting takes too long, this would save me alot of time.
3rd Place: eXtreme Script Editor
Reason: Me and you talked about this. Sounds great, especially with all the problems the other editors have.
4th Place: Advance Item
Reason: Every now and then I need to change a key item, or it's description. This would obviously make that easier.
5th Place: Shinyzer
Reason: Sounds like a fun and simple tool.
6th Place: Titlescreen Cry Changer
Reason: Uhm, very insignificant, so not that important to me.
7th Place: Strengther
Reason:Not Very Important, can already be readibly done, and can't you just add that to like the Pokemon Editor Advance?

For the program release stuff, here's my order and reasoning.

My Graduatory

1st place) Advance Trainer.
Reason: PET is crap, and half the time, when I try to replace something I get a dragonite or something like that. A nice, working trainer editor would be welcome.
2nd place) Pokemon Editor Advance
Reason: For those of use who aren't good hex editors, this program would help with changing pokemon data in emerald (Which is no easy task otherwise).
3rd place) Extreme Script Editor
Reason: This would definately be extremely useful for any hacker.
4th place) Shinyizer
Reason: Just sounds like a fun tool to use.
5th place) Advance Item
Reason: Sounds like a fun tool to use, although I personally can't imagine myself using it too often. Still, it would be handy if I needed an Item editor.
6th place) Strengther
Reason: It would be useful, but I just can't imagine myself using it too much.
7th place) Titlescreen Cry Editor
Reason: Again, useful, just can't imagine myself using it too much.

Hey, thanks for voting :)
As usual the poll results were updated. Take a look if you care.

1st - eXtreme Script Editor
It would be more easier for new/old/in hurry hackers. But I just wish there's a special reader-like-thing that will scan you're script and will tell you if you've done some errors in either spelling (eg, for instance.., some confuse \ with the / )...

2nd - Shinyzer
I've been wanting to have a shiny script encounter with my hack. And it would be useful to hacker with new ideas of, eg, PKMN SHINIES! :D

3rd - Advance Trainer
P.E.T. is useful, however, it's still glitchy, for instance, I can't edit the PKMNs that twins or any trainer's which battles you in a double battle, and I can't edit the PKMNs of the Elite Four... And, in PET, the attacks aren't the same attacks to be used in the game, for instance, String Shot is another attack in the game. T_T It would be very useful if it'll be done. :)

4th - Pokémon Editor Advance
I am kinda annoyed editing the PKMNs POKEDEX entries using A-Text, and so, this would be very helpful, indeed.

5th - Strengther
Changing the weaknesses and resistance of any PKMN Types would be very helpful, indeed...

6th - Titlescreen Cry Changer
A helpful tool to those who choose to hack either FireRed/LeafGreen ROMs and has the desire to change the token POKEMON in the title screen.

and last, but not least...

7th - Advanced Item
A-Mart exist for that job, however, it will depend on how they differ from each other.

My Graduatory
1st Place: Advance Trainer
Reason: I would love to have a WORKING trainer editor unlike PET. PET is just trash and can get very confusing. The tool often runs into other trainer's offsets and also the only pokemon moves that you are only allowed to customize are the gym leader's / elite 4. I'd like to see a fully functioning, clean, and easy trainer editor.
2nd Place: Pokémon Editor Advance
Reason: Seems like a good idea. I'd like to see a Pokemon entry editor with FR support. Not just that but, a tool with many functionalities. I like the sound of that, it would save me a lot of space in my tool folder. ;)
3rd Place: Shinyzer
Reason: It sounds pretty good and takes out all of hassle of ASM hacking. I'd like to have a tool like this. :P
4th Place: Advance Item
Reason: I really like item editing, this will make things very easy for some hackers.
5th Place: Titlescreen Cry Changer
Reason: Sounds like a fun tool. With this, we wont be hearing the same charizard cry every time we play a FR/LG hack. It gives more customization to the title screen which allows the creator to be more creative.
6th Place: eXtreme Script Editor
Reason: I like the sound of this tool however, I would not see myself using it much.
7th Place: Strengther
Reason: A good tool if you want to make custom pokemon types but, I would just prefer the traditional typing. :/

Also it's spelt "screenshots" not "screenshoots" ^^;

I'm not sure if I should be asking here anymore, because as you can see this is all filled with peoples' graduatories, but...for Overworld Editor RE whenever my cursor goes onto the pallette, Overworld Editor RE says "Runtime error 9, subscript is out of range" or something like that. It's been killing me.

Actually I've already fixed that bug, even if nobody were supposed to drag the cursor on the palette :P
Hopefully I'll release a fixed version later.

And that means that we'll soon have a Trainer Editor (bye bye PET ;P)

By the way, according to PET, there are only a few trainer classes that enable you to edit the trainer's Pokemon's attacks (and they are not just the GymLeader, Rival, E4 and Champion classes, there are more). Unless you can skip that "problem", you should remember that.

Well, wishing you luck for when you start the programming!

So I assume you will be doing it in this order?

1. eXtreme Script Editor with 117 points
2. Advance Trainer with 89 points
3. Pokémon Editor Advance with 86 points
4. Shinyzer with 80 Points
5. Advance Item with 65 points
6. Titlescreen Cry Changer with 60 points
7. Strengther with 35 points

Don't mean to bug you but approximately how long does each program take to make? I have a buddy whose been working on a model converter program for another game which has been taking him quite a while.

# Advance Trainer
Pet universally sux and no movement to improve it pisses me off...and everyone know u can do it the best

# Pokémon Editor Advance
Useful for people adding new pkmn to hacks liek myself...

# eXtreme Script Editor
cool, but yeah....scripting is still gonna be the same..

# Titlescreen Cry Changer
Nice but i'm ny going to mess w/ that yet

# Shinyzer
Shinies rock and the full way is painful for noobs, but it's nt needed in the community...

# Strengther
cool in concept, but seems esy to hex it if needed to be done...

# Advance Item
Don't need it for anything in the future...

My first time posting My list here....Well here goes.

1. Advance Trainer
This is the most needed tool on my list. PET isn't well put, and it is Glitchy.

2. Pokemon Editor Advance
I really want to insert new pokemon, but I don't feel like replacing Any...

3. Shinyzer
MX's Method isn't all that friendly to noob's...xD

4. Extreme script editor
What's wrong with pokescript? Hopefully this will be better, and more friendly to noob's.

5. Titlescreen cry changer
Dabonstew has already made it, but Maybe yours will have support for Hoenn Pokemon.

6. Strengther
Good Idea, But I don't see why I would need it....

7.Advance Item
Many programs have a feature to edit Items thus, meaning I don't need it.

Well..
PokéScript doesn't compile very well.
It doesn't decompile at all.. Or nobody really knows how XD
Of course XSE will be beter.. Andrea, Martin and me discoverd a lot of 'new' commands..
So, scripting with XSE will be easier + the scripts will be more advanced ;)

Judging by what you've just said, will XSE have the free-space search function like pokescript? Because, honestly its boring searching for free space manually.
