On-line Tournaments?

We all know that Pokemon Battle Revolution (PBR) is going to allow us to battle on-line but I'm wondering if it'll allow for tournaments (without Friend Codes). If so then that'd just be awesome.

If so then I'd be hosting a tournament with prizes (Whatever is allowed to be transferred. So perhaps coupons, TMs, and other stuff).

Though, with how Diamond and Pearl played out, I'm doubting it.

I'm just expecting this to be sort of like a remake of Pokemon Stadium, without any major extras, just a pure 3D battling system.

I will like to take part of a tournament for Pokemon BR when it comes out.I really hope it's like Pokemon Stadium because in my opinion I really think the gamecube pokemon games are really boring
