View Full Version : How should I start?

I've had a long time with the RMXP. I used to have the Postality Knights Edition. I have some experience with it (though very little with scripting) and I would like to know if I should start with this game I'm planning.

Note that this will take a very long time and a CBS, which I have in my mind but will be too difficult to do. I've made many other things before. Even though I have never finished a game, I've advanced a lot to make one now. It's just that I don't want to ruin this idea doing whatever.

Would it be better to try to do this? I would need some help with the CBS and maybe some graphics. Or maybe should I start with normal games? Again, I'm not a beginner and I hate the Normal BS. Another idea I had was to make this in any way as long as it remains the same idea and, when I get more experienced with scripting, maybe do a remake of this, this time well done.

What do you think I should do?

I think you should have a crack at it - but plan everything first. Complete some maps or systems or even new Pokemon before you start a topic though, because if your game looks good, people are more likely to help you out.

I forgot to mention this is not a Pokémon game so it must be easier to do. It will just have a CBS.

I have done only the planning so far. I have some music (it will have my own music) and graphics as well as some scripts done and for the moment, I'll try to get any tiles to start mapping.
