if you receive an illegit pokemon and breed it with a ditto, is the egg pokemon legit or illegit?

It's most likely legit. Considering you did hatch it yourself. Maybe semilegit because the parent was illegit.

Even if both parents are hacked, the baby is legit because it was obtained the right way. And the baby Larvitar had hacked parents but he's fine, trust me. He has you as the parent now. 8D

Umm... I'm pretty sure I gave it away. o_O;

I wouldn't consider it hacked in any way as long as the baby didn't inherit like impossible egg move combinations or high IVs because the parents were hacked that way... And they weren't. Don't be so mean to the baby and say it's hacked just cause it's parents are hacked. Am I considered stupid if both my parents were stupid? :/
