Where is my Rival?

Apparently I missed something. People say the rival appears in the fight area outside the battle tower after you get the national dex... I'm at the fight area, and I've yet to see him for over a month now -.- Anyone know where he is or how to activate him? ^^;

I think you have to go to Stark Mountain and see him on the route there... North of some Battle place. XD

I saw him in the mountain, do I need to finish the mountain or enter alone and talk to him?

Finish the mountain I guess... My brother did that and got Heatran and he battles his rival all the time and I don't. 8<

He only appears in weekends, though. And you have to have cleared everything, which includes Stark Mountain.
