Um, well I heard this idea. But I'm not sure if it's actually word to word but I'll try to explain.
Um, let's see...
Go on the GTS, put your pokemon on offer. Count how many ticks and how many mini ticks ocurred (DON'T TURN OFF YOUR GAME) before your pokemon was put on offer e.g. 7 ticks and five mini ticks.
Reaquire your pokemon and repeat, count the ticks and mini ticks. then repeat. Do it three times (or more if you'd like). WHen you are done, take the averages of your ticks and put your pokemon offer and turn the game off at your average.

I think that's what the guy said, but not sure. xP My variation.

Well... I don't know much about cheating, but I think I have a method for you.
You place the Pokemon that you want to clone in your team and save the game. Then put the Pokemon in the PC and save the game. After that, turn off your DS. Turn the DS back on, but don't start the game. Go to DS settings and set the clock back a little ways; an hour or so. (If you have it set to "Auto," pop out the game pack or packs you have and you will get the menu). If it works, you should have the Pokemon in your team and your PC. I believe that it happens because the time in your PC depends on the clock, and the time in your Team depends on your last save. Or something like that. Anyway, I'm not sure if it works because I've never tried anything like that. (The only cheat I've ever used is the infinite item MissingNo cheat on Red and Blue).
