**DON'T PM ME ASKING FOR A BATTLE. THAT IS WHY THIS THREAD WAS CREATED.

I wanted to finally start battling and thus here I am. My rules are simple, but will be reinforced, no exceptions.

NO LEGENDS OR WOBBEFET, NO HACKS, NO DISCONNECT, AND SLEEP AND EVASION CLAUSE.
Sleep Clause means that you may only place the status 'sleep' upon one of your opponents pokemon at a time, and Evasion Clause means that you are not allowed to pass on evasion or speed gains.
Otherwise, you are allowed to give each pokemon an item, and the items may repeat. In other words, yes, you can have 2 Leftovers.

Also, before battling me, you agree that it is okay for me to video tape the battle and stick it on Youtube. I will be putting links to the videos after they end.

I got insanely lucky with Claydol freezing your Tangrowth on the first try. Actually, you didn't even get to see my Milotic... how sad. I would have loved to see her on YouTube. :(

Oh, BTW Cema, you may want to rework and give your Magnezone some Speed EVs (or even re-breed), because my Metagross has terrible Speed, and he outran your Magnezone. If Magnezone is quicker than Metagross (granted before an Agility), he can fire off a Magnet Rise before Metagross Earthquakes and continue to pwn, most of the time. If you can pull that off, your Magnezone will be an efficient SkarmGross killer. ;)

I thought about it, and I realized Magnezone really is more of a SkarmBliss killer, but you didn't see him kill your Blissey. Let me finish up my battles with some other people, then I'll batch edit them.

Sure he can: Ditto. And actually, no... I went up against a Metagross with a Magnezone (evolved quickly from an utterly terrible Magneton in my old Emerald), and I did the exact same thing I explained. Only thing was that Metagross had Hammer Arm, so my effort was worthless. haha

See, with Magneton the EVs were to max out SpAtk and Speed... with Metagross, Speed is usually of third concern, if that. Not sure if Magnezone has a new EV spread, but Modest with max EVs in Speed, and it's smooth sailing.

Trust me, under the right circumstances, it works.

I'm ready for more battles, but remember, editing the videos is not an easy task. To give me a 10 minute leeway. Also, I thought about Benny Hill but ultimately decided not to. Did everyone like the videos?

Rich, the technique I use is moving the camera back, zooming in on the video, turning contrast to 0, Turning everything else to 90, and using the stylus to press the buttons but being careful as to not move it over the top screen. Then I edit it in Windows Movie Maker. lolz.

Man why are you people so dense? I didnt use a single uber in our match. I beat you fair and square. YOu should do some research on what an uber is. Reflect isnt even a broken ability as ALOT of pokemon can learn it. I use cresselia which isnt even CLOSE to an uber. Read my sticked topic to find out what an UBER is. The topic was also backed up by a mod because all of my information is CORRECT. Stop trying to make me look bad. besides I beat you with garchomp and gliscor. NOT an "uber"

I still think if you're to go ahead and say no ubers, you may as well include the no legends, too. I'm not going to get into the arguement as of why, but Cresselia is an obvious versatile tanker (not everyone is going to have the typical T-Tar counter) - and if it's not so much of a novelty as you say, maybe you could change it with some non-legendary. Notice that only one pokemon in your 'uber list' was not a legendary - which was the Wobby, a dreadful opponent to any tank (like Cresselia perhaps) - but an uber nonetheless.

Nobody's trying to make you look bad here, it's just a general tradition not to include legendary pokemon in your party.

It's like to you sympathize your reasoning to include legends in your party - and to say that your team is near the equivalent of everyone else's here is pushing it. I actually froze your Cresselia if you remember - but we all know here that it's a massive tank, and you've utilized it as such.

Play who you want to play, I'm not trying to stop you - I'm just saying that you should expect people to backlash or forbid the pokemon 'you want to use' in your 'competitive standards'. Expect to defend yourself every time you make a case for why you use legends in your party.

And I propose a challenge - change your cresselia up with a non-legendary pokemon and battle me then? Let's see what happens, eh?

A smarter opponent?! You're tactics are pitiful - mind you, you switched when when my Crobat put a hold on your Scisor party - what did you switch to? Cresselia of course.

Poliwrath can take out cressilia, yunno, it is beatable. plus on top that its just a game, with cute monsters beating the crap out of each other. I just play the game, heck I've been in matches on here where I've had to fight 4 forms of deoxys, giratina, and some other ugly legend, its just a game, its not worth making a bug deal over it you are either playing it right or your just playing it wrong. Just that simple if you played it right, your poke team should succeed irregaurdless of what your opponent uses.

When I posted that post I was in no way trying to start anything. I was just emplying that your Cress took out all but 2 of my pokemon. Because it was Uber. (i knew you were going to kick my butt when I seen it) Be proud of it. But like it was said ALOT of people dont like fighting Ubers because they dont use them.

You will have to expect alot of backlash. Most see it as not fair (like myself) If I were to bring out a Arceus in a battle you would have something to say about it. (i dont have Arceus tho) Just saying. In my book all legendaries are Uber, because they all (for except a couple) have a dominant stat...like your Cress. But I was by no means starting anything! I was making a statment about it. Also thanks, really helps me feel alot better about myself, by being called dence.... I havent been able to get to sleep. You need to accept that people are going to say something. If I got huffy with all my friends who battled me, when they would say something like, "screw your Infernape" Only means they envy it because it took them out. Thats all I have to say, and sorry for going off topic.

I cleaned your whole team with one pokemon. How does that constitute as lucky? i dragondances in your face 3 times Where is the luck in that? Or maybe You were just not smart enough to stop it?

Just to defend Nameless, I was completely massacred by a SubNinjask who Baton Passed three Swords Dances to a Mamoswine. (grr to Paranoia). Now you seem to hold me in high regard, and I hold you in high regard, but if a battler like me can be destroyed by a SD Baton Pass (cheap as it was!), it's possible for anyone to make a little slip in judgment like I did (got arrogant and wanted to heal my Claydol... thought I had some time, and I thought wrong!).

But rubbing in someone's face just isn't cool. And neither is saying you won't battle anyone here anymore... just let people know you're using a Cresselia, that's all you gotta do! The disuse of legendaries is widely known and practiced, so you can avoid a lot of flame wars and attacks if you just let people know. It's kinda turn signals when you drive... sure, a left hand turn is completely legal, but it's annoying to the person behind you if you don't let them know you're turning before you turn. If that makes sense?

I'm not debating or anything, I'm just trying to make these legendary-fights go away.

Oh, and Cema, you GOTTA do one with the Benny Hill theme! That's be so utterly funny.

Oh, I saw 'em all! Watching mine, I did make a few mistakes... but switching to my Gengar was dirt luck on my part. I was sure you'd fire off another Focus Blast... but I guess it turned out the same. My only concern was if my Gar would outrun your Zam. And I didn't have to worry about that! lol, I thought I'd blast a last STAB before Gar died... and he ended up OHKOing your Zam. XD

haha, I'm watching our rematch, Cema, and I just love that apocalyptic, final-showdown feel it has, along with that music... genius! I said this before, but I'll say it again, even though I did lose, the ending note is superb: my Metagross is taken out at the EXACT time the music ends. And that Metagross is my trump card, so it's truly fitting!

Great dubbing, and even though I lost that one, I like that video more than the first battle we had.
