well i have a very hard to wanser for some people question on the battle rev site i seen it said the following: dont worry if you dont have a ds and pokemon diamond or pokemon pearl you can choose a rental pass. well i was wondering do you need a ds to make a battle pass?

Ya, I think you need a DS and D/P to make a battle pass, sense it was made to have your pokemon teams. Rental passes are preset and your only choices if you don't have access to a DS and D/P.

well im not getting the game i waited over a year for

Why didn't you spend that year trying to get a DS, then? Gift opportunities, saving up money earned through chores or allowances or w/e?

But... I don't think you need a DS to play with rental Pokemon, that would defeat the entire point of using rentals.
