how do u clone pokemon

ok i got my pearl yesterday and i need help cloning pokemon how do u do it? i can go in the gts....... but i dont know what to do?

I heard one way is to:

1. Go to the GTS.
2. Put up for offer what you want to clone, for what you are searching for, make it something people would never have, like a Lv 100 Shinx.
3. Count how many times the Clock hand goes around when the pokemon is being put up.
4. Take him back down.
5. Set him back up for the same reason, shut off the DS once you have reached 1 before the it gets put up. Example it spins 8 times, turn the power off at 7 times.
6. Connect to GTS once more, and the cloned pokemon should be there and in your party/box

It takes a couple of tries in performing the glitch, as the time you shut off the DS has to be precise before there's a clone. Just keep up with the same method, it'll eventually work.

No, you can also clone via wifi trades with your friends and one has to turn off their DS at the right moment so the pokemon gets traded through and the other doesn't and gets deleted...I've only done this 3 times within the last month and it's very hard. GTS cloning is far easy as some people have done it 100 times just today. :O

I suggest using Arceus/Shaymin as your offer if you have the data or a female level 100 uncommon pokemon like Pineco, Paras, Diglett, Phanpy, Kabuto, Slowpoke, etc. in order to help ensure you're pokemon won't get stolen. As for when to turn it off, you have about a one second gap and it has to be in there to clone right. It's best to keep your internet steady... Then it should work around 7-8 spins or just 17 seconds is what I use. Good luck and keep trying. :P

Yeah that helps me out a lot... So I turn off the laptop and computer and DS and PS3 and anything else that might be a problem. But it still might be hard since Nintendo's server isn't steady with many other people coming in the GTS. D;
