How do you get shiny legendarys? Is it deermined when you see them standing there? or is it determined once u talk to them?

Once you talk to them so if it isnt shiny turn off your game and try again IT WILL TAKE FOREVER

I heard rumors that soft reseting the game can increase your chance of encountering a shiny Legendary. Can anyone confirm that? I've caught all the legendaries on my version so I can't confirm it.

You just save and battle them and soft reset until you see a shiny... It took me a few hours to get shiny Lugia. I've tried getting my own shiny Giratina in my Pearl for days now and still nothing. So it's just luck and some determination and patience also helps. It's quite worth the effort though. ^_^
Edit: It doesn't increase you chance... Even if you soft reset 10,000 timesm you still have a 1/8192 chance of seeing a shiny. :P

it just a one in amillion chance that you will get a shiny but keep turning it on and off until it is shiny.

actually the chance is 1/8192 not 1/1000000...

People don't hack to get shinies.. o_O
Anyway, you can always pay someone to do this for you if you don't have the patience.. ;0 I know I don't.

The OW is always the regular, but the battle sprite could be shiny, but thats a 1/8192 chance. ;)
