I know that I may be causing an eruption but whats the difference between a fanfic and a PRP for all of us noobs in PC?

I'm going to assume that by "PRP" you are talking about Pokemon Role Plays.

Fanfiction is like a story, written (typically) by one person. It's just like reading a regular novel that you find in your local book store, but using copyrighted characters.

A Role Pay is like a fanfiction, but done with more than one person. There's no way to really control what happens in a role play, as many people take part in it. With fanfiction, the writer can control what happens. It's not like that with a role play.

That's really the only difference that I can think of. Hope that helps in some way to understand these different creative outlets.
