No, I think it's fine where it's at.
Why is everyone so fixated on moving things? I think the current arrangement of topics/categories is perfect.

I don't don't really think so.
Mixing Trainer cards and Sprite comics into one sub-forum and calling it "Pixel Projects" was one good way to kill Tcards and Sprite comics atogether.

I can't believe that it's July already. 2007 seems to be going by pretty fast. Good. I can't wait for summer to end.
And I don't understand why people can't leave well-enough alone. It's not like there are any, or many, problems with the way PC is set up currently. It worked before. I just don't know why it doesn't work now for people. *shrugs*

Agreed on both. I'm getting OLD! But same on the Summer part too! Once summer's over, I get internet on my no-internet-included-so-it-stays-in-the-corner computer!
I think the same way. I don't post in half the forums here, so I don't have a right to complain about it anyway. I barely ever post in the DCC o_o

It's July already... whoa, this year's gone by relatively quicker than I'd expected.
I'm in the same position as Chikara, I don't post that diversely throughout PC and I never even visit some, so I can't really complain about the current set-up. Although I do think it works well in most places and I quite like our PC is right now.

I should post in DCC's again, though. I had a lot of good times in them, and plus, it'd make Matt happy. XD

Same here DD: Seriously, that's pretty much where am all the time. I do stray out every once in a while to Japanese Entertainment and the Art gallery but that's about it. (Not including OVP and Other Trivia).
All my friends for the most part, I've met in a club of some sort. either that or LJ.

I advise the exact opposite of what Teresa's suggesting. Mature as quickly as humanly possible, because there will come a time when you'll wonder how you lived without puberty and drama. The former is inevitable; the latter can be avoided with the proper precautions.

*shrugs* You don't really need to act like a special person to be like a child. I just have fun with my friends, sitting on the swingset and just having fun. Of course, people look at you like you are a special person if you don't act your age.
I miss my childhood sometimes. Work gets annoying. But I love being an adult. So many happy times now.

I don't!! I go to a private school, but I'm not confused by your statements. They don't really restrict us to be nice and matured by their strict ways. At least, not in my case I hope.

Yeah, I was forced to be mature at a very young age because I've had to help raise my little brother so I know how it feels to have your lost your childhood to some extent. I may not act the part all the time. But that's because I dont give a hoot what age I'm acting if I'm having fun. XD But then too there has to be some control over the inner kid doesnt there?

Ugh. I remember private schools. I went to one from Kindergarten to Grade Eight. It was annoying. I hated it. And I hated the uniform. The skirt was...ugh. I'm glad I went to the public high school. No more uniforms!
Like I said before, I want summer to end. Only two months and three days until I'm back in school. I can't wait! xD To keep my brain from turning into mush, I'm reading books that no normal 20-year-old would read if they didn't have to. 600-page, small-print The Three Musketeers, anyone?
The weather here in Connecticut is rather crazy. It's July, but temperatures are in the 60's when they're normally in the high 80's. Ah well. It's at least comfortable here. Though the nights get down to the 40's.
I'm still going to the beach, though. :<

:/ Yeah, but that's the point. You shouldn't be saying anything wrong in the first place.
A good way to becoming a mod is to be considerate of all people.. and try not to be stuck-up or pretensious to newer members or something.

I cant help but get the feeling that Achamo is being cornered.
Everyone makes mistakes and sometimes we all try and fail to be sarcastic or say something that is taken the wrong way. I dont fault him for wondering if he is alone.
Nobody knows when they have crossed a unmarked boundary until they have actually crossed it. So let's not be too hard on him.

That's why I try to make it painfully obvious that I'm being sarcastic. When I do choose to do so. I hate to see such misunderstanding personally and I too feel stupid when I miss unmarked sarcasm. But can you falt someone for taking things at face value? Not all of us are willing to jump to a conclusion based upon a subtle and nearly insignificant indicator. It all depends on how much you analyze what was said before posting a reply. Unfortunately that means taking time to think about it and that's time not all of us have. If the computer was located closer to my room I'd probably attempt to stay up late, but since I'm not allowed to, I have to suffer and sleep. Ah, turtles are great! I've never actually owned any, but they look cool and don't seem so dangerous, so that would make them good pets. Our uniform is fugly.
It's fugly AND overpriced. One of those default, styleless kinds.
It's not one of these (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/4/42/Ichikawa_Gakuen_school_uniform.jpg/800px-Ichikawa_Gakuen_school_uniform.jpg)? Pity, then.

It really is a pity. Those uniforms look so much cooler than ours. ;; And I agree with Chikara, they are waaaay overpriced.

I know. It's really sad. D: To my credit, I tried watching it once but quickly lost interest. I don't think the theme song even started yet when I flipped the channel. Oh well, I tried. I'm not much of a Star Wars/Startrek/ Stargate type of person.
That's a shame. I thought it was one of the best sitcoms while it was around. You can still get the DVDs for Friends, so you've got a second chance!

Ah, Transformers. That Michael Bay-directed, two hour-long toy commercial.
Starscream should've been a MiG (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mikoyan_Project_1.44) or a Sukhoi (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sukhoi_Su-47) than an F-22 Raptor. Blackout could have easily been a Mil Mi-26 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mil_Mi-26); similarly, Devastator could have been a T-90 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/T-90) instead of a malformed M1 Abrams. Bonecrusher would have more appropriately lived up to his name as a BTR-90 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BTR-90) than as a Buffalo mine protected vehicle. Foolish Decepticons.
Also, it is somewhat suspicious that all the Autobots other than Optimus Prime are General Motors vehicles. Supposedly, it saved Michael Bay US$3 million in production costs due to product placement.

Yeah, it's sad to see the DCC is slowing down but I think that only happened 'cuz of the DBEs and because PC has slowed down.
There arent as many regular members as there once was. I kinda blame it on the rulebreakers. They caused the stricter rules around here.
PC didnt have as many rules when I joined. PC seems to have lost it's funness. Sometimes I think it's getting too somber and serious. What I hate to see is that more and more Veteran members(join date:Beginning of PC-2004) are aquiring a disgruntled attitude toward the noobs. I don't see anyone gaining cash from YT vids ever, I mean, they are free to share on the site...
Btw, what's the SFOC acronym stand for?
SFOC stands for "Stick Figures on Crack" made by PivotMasterDX, to answer your question

Well, for example, John and I would make 500+ in the DCC each every month. The DCCs don't even get that with other members combined anymore.
I see. But then say look back to last year, that was a time when there were more members posting in the DCC each month, thus boosting up it's post counts.
E.g. http://www.pkmncommunity.com/misc.php?do=whoposted&t=7794
That has over 40,000 posts in it, but that lasted an entire year and the amount of members who posted were more than now, yes. But it must be taken into account the lack of former members, like back then, who once posted here. I dunno... but looking around today's PC, it's more D/P where the posts are all concentrated. That, and the DBEs earlier last few months and the ones last year, could have driven off members away.

Which why I'm saying due to the lack of regular posters in here, the DCC basically died thus not needing its own forum.

Um, fine way to simplify things. And by any chance have you contemplated some sort of plan to re-activate the DCC to its former glory of numerous posts with their members?

Definately not anytime soon anyway. Most of the DCC posters I was used to (heck, all of them) have left or become inactive.
And I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who's noticed, but happy jackpot day.

We're thinking about giving out free gifts for people who post in here. I was contemplating baking some cookies in the shape of a melon, what do you think?
Otherwise, no. I don't really see what can be done about it. It's down the members, really.

They could be replaced by new members with the same dedication to post?
XD, that was yesterday for me. 07/07/07 is going down in history as the day when a whole lot of people decided to get married because of the, I think the word here would be spiritual? reasonings behind the number 7.

Oh yay, free gifts and cookies baked by Matt. I'll take a melon-shaped cookie if you do make them, xD

We would have a load of cookies, if past posts counted. XD Well, hey, if someone could remember our old name, the DCC would be that much more lively. But Emma didn't want to look. >:

Bleh, I bet all the gothic people got married/commited suicide on 06/06/06. This guy that was in my class was like, "It's all over. 666." My response was simply, "Aw, come on, The Omen isn't going to be that bad."
It was. =[

But I was tired, I might look for the old name today, okay?! XD
My class didn't stop talking about 666, it was so annoying. We were in maths and one of them goes "The world is going to explode at 12!" I laughed. A lot. XD

I actually did look for the name today, but my determination to find it soon wore off and I stopped searching after about 10 minutes. XD
I remember when I always used to say last year that I would be the top poster for a DCC. Never happened though, ha. XD

I'm still very surprised how much attention the DCC has lost :(
The above post was posted...2 hours ago? Well, usually were now probably a few pages ahead of that post if we had our active DCC posters back on PC.

The DCC in January was the most active one for me. Only because it was spammed-up-ishy by me. And now this is like only my third post in the DCC for this month, I used to have loads of posts here, but now I can't really give a stuff. I find it funny though that people are actually voting me to have half my posts from the DCC... not likely while member fanclubs still exists. XD

I got One vote for half my posts in the DCC :D I was suprised. Although, I'm one of the few who still posts here. Plus More then half the people including myself voted for Drummershuff, (Well he is the Moderator of DCC anyway) for half their posts being in the DCC.

Look at his post count... And it's like 10k something now... so about 8000-ish posts which is over half. XD

I think one reason for the DCC to raise post counts (The other reasons are on vacation :P). I post so much in the other triva, I already have 1000 posts but not in my post count. Makes me wonder why it dosen't let the posts you made add into your post count...?

I post A LOT in the boards that don't count toward my post count since I joined. But maybe that's the reason why they didn't add post count in those boards, because too many people post there. MANY people spam in the New people welcoming board. Simply because they need to raise their post count. I mean seriously? Also since D/P came out more people are joining and leaving. Leaving not a lot of people who have been here for about 2 years, hanging around PC anymore, Did you see the D/P boards lately? It's like SPAM, SPAM, and more SPAMMY posts. Hardly anyone posts here anymore.

I wouldn't exactly say I made 8000 posts in the DCC because about 6000 of them are purely SPAM. Seriously not proud of my post count...
However, Kawaii, you need to stop the stalker-ish stuff. It's weird. O_o

you got a point there, some just spam to make thier post count go up. I'm think to many new people are joining to fast and spamming up the boards cause they don't understand the rules. It actually been proven that the chance of n00bs being banned for not following the rules is way higher than members that have been here for some time.

Another problem is that some people just sign up to ask one stupid question then leave. The DBE drove off some good fellow members too. I hope some of these newbies actually become active people.
