Nintendo hasn't released any Event Pokemon yet so you have to wait or cheat to get the event pokemon.

in jubilife TV station (in jubilife) go to the second floor in the little room the man will ask you about TV, answer "Everyone Happy" then "Wi-Fi Connection" or vice versa. he will then say you now have the mystery gift, or something like that.

He wasn't asking how to get mystery gift, he was asking how to recieve gifts....

Hey wait a minute...didn't I answer your question on some other thread? Oh well...you just have to make me quote myself..

Unfortunetly, the event is false, and even if it was true, it wouldn't be on wi-fi. Me and my friend asked nintendo and they said all events (membership pass, oak's letter, and azure flute) is local mystery gift, what will wi-fi be for? Nintendo said they will give out free items, but not the ones I said above.

And Something I forgot to add to that post, the option "recieve gift from a friend" is for a quick "mix records" and obtaining duplicates of items you get on wifi.
