Wi-Fi- Question

On my Pokemon Diamond game, I have a friend code, because I used my friends Wi-Fi at his house. If I get my own Wi-Fi, will I be able to use it, or will I not? Or, will it give me a completely new friend code?

I planned on getting it tonight, so I hope I can...

Your friend code is based on the game cartridge itself, and is given to that cartridge the very first time you access Wi-Fi. It doesn't matter whose Wi-Fi you use, only that you use the same Pokémon Diamond cartidge.

No problem. ^^; Just keep in mind that if you restart your game, you will have to get your friend code again, and it will be different from before. But most likely, you won't have that problem anytime soon.

Your friend code also gets reseted if you go on wifi on a different DS.
