This is the new version of the Altaria and Typhlosion fanclub.
The old (http://www.pokecommunity.com/showthread.php?t=66526) fanclub got closed recently, so, I'm going to remake it. Don't count on my activity in this club, because I most likely wont, but for all you Altaria and Typhlosion fans... um yeah.

1. Your post must consist of either an image of Altaria, Typhlosion and their bloodlines, or, the alternative is to post/answer the club topic.
2. Try to keep explicit language to a minimum, this means... NO SWEARING, unless it's... wait, just don't swear at all, k?
3. Don't spam in this club just for the fun of it, please, try and keep the club civil.
4. You may talk about their trainers if it is referring to the main topic, which would be about either of the two.
5. Don't repeat the same images if you knew they were already posted. Repeating the images is just a form of spamming, so just don't do it.
6. Contribute towards the topic, don't just state the obvious or else it's pointless you being apart of this club.

Details about... competition 1!~
The first competition this club is participating in is a banner one. Each member should try and submit an entry before the end of the year, if the members start to get impatient and want to know the results, I will begin the judging on who deserves to win. Yeah, welcome Rene. Um great explanation. You don't really highlight any real points that a discussion could be based upon. For example, a better answer would have been~ Altaria and Typhlosion both looked awesome, Typhlosion like a volcano and Altaria like a big beautiful cloud. Even that would be okay, but no, you didn't. Just try to extend your answers to make the club seem more interesting.

For me, I became interested in Cyndaquil firstly because it was one of the Johto starters, and with Johto being my first Pokemon game I easily got attached to it. After that, watching Johto in the anime made me realise how awesome that Pokemon actually is, slowly, I began to like it's evolutions which lead to Cyndaquil being one of my few favourite Pokemon. For Altaria though, it was just because I thought Swablu was adorable and I thought I might as well like it's evolution too, so that's how come I liked them. Well at least as far as I can remember.

As for the topic: I really like Cyndaquil from the moment I saw it on the anime. It was just such a cute little thing, with it's flame on its back and the small cutely shaped body. Plus, it was a fire Pokemon and a Johto starter which made it even more worthwhile. From there I noticed Quilava and Typhlosion when I played Silver for the first time, choosing Cyndaquil as my starter for G/S/C not just for its looks, but also because at that time I had heard Cyndaquil was the best starter to use.

I noticed Swablu later on, when I first played R/S/E. I didn't think much of it at the time, apart from that it was another one of those cute but weaker Pokemon. Its R/S/E sprite also wasn't particularly impressive. From there, likewise with Cyndaquil, I noticed Altaria during one of the ingame battles and thought how weird it was to have clouds for wings. Then, joining the previous club, I got interested even more in all of them and that's why I'm here in this current A&T FC! xD

I love Altaria because not only is it adorable, it's part dragon and strong as well. Typhlosion because its powerful and cool looking (fiery XD) and the others are just awesome as well~ (I don't feel like typing much. XD)

Jolly Nature
EVs: 252 Atk/ 252 Spd/ 4HP
- Dragon Claw/Dragon Rush
- Aerial Ace
- Earthquake
- Dragon Dance

Unfortunately Altaria has a more limited movepool and its base stats aren't particularly great too. This one's a physicaly Sweeper, utilising Dragon Dance for increasing Speed and Attack power. I'm not too sure about EVs, but its Jolly Nature and its EVs in both Atk and Spd should compensate for its lower Spd and even lower SpAtk. Not much of an attacker, it's more a wall type Pokemon with its higher Def and SpDef, but anyway there we go. DD first, then a choice of three attacks to cover most types and the choice of Dragon Claw or Dragon Rush depends on the player.

Well it was pretty much as soon as I started playing my Gold version ages ago when I first chose Cyndaquil. I pretty much loved it straight away, back then I have a very bad team (2 fire types, 3 norms and a ground type).

Althought I've not really a fan of Altaria and Swablu, I have considered training one often...however just like pokemon like Mr. Mime and Rapidash it never truly made the cut. I do admit Altaria looks cool and is rather unique in its own way.

What's your favourite Altaria moveset?

I've had never trained up one, so I don't have a favorite moveset, but I'd probably go physical sweeping using Dragon Dance if I did. I would have to look into its stats and available moveset to really have an idea how I would use Altaria

My favorite Altaria moveset is this:
Modest Nature
- DragonClaw
- Aerial Ace
- Ice Beam
- Earthquake

Those are the attacks my Altaria has on Emerald, and I find it works very well with Flygon. :3

well for typhlosion i really like all fire type starter pokemon... i espiacally like pokemon with fire coming out of them (charmander with a fire at the tip of its tail, cyndaquil with fire on its back, chimchar with fire coming out of its but (fire fart XD)) and i like altaria because its a strong dragon type pokemon.... i think thats the only reason tho..

Imagine that Typhlosion was afraid, nobody wasn't sure of it's cause, but every time it went near you, it started to worry and the flames burst out at one hundred degrees. Typhlosion then launches those flames at you and you end up getting scorched. What would be everybody elses suspicion of what you've done, and what would you do?

Well, their initial reaction would be that I've been inflicting pain on it. I would have to explain myself until I reached a conclusion that would most likely be the cause of it's fear. After realising what I had done I would try to make Typhlosion calm, and sit it down so I can get to the bottom of this fear. Of course, Typhlosion could just be wanting attention, and in that case I'd have no choice to give it treats each time it starts acting up... Meh. XD

Theres a good chance that others that were looking might of thought I had been cruel to it,in which case afyer i get scorched., they would be like 'He deserved it'. I suppose there wouldn't be much i could do about others opinions. I suppose i'll try to be careful and try to calm it down and show (somwhow, peobably by food) that theres nothing to be afraid of. If it burns me again. I guess theres not much I can do, but I would be sad somewhat.

i think there suspicion would be that i was being mean to the typhlosion so it burnt me with the flames.. i would jump into the nearest lake, pond or body of water and make sure that i'm not burnt anymore. Or i might take out my water pokemon and tell them to use water gun on me

wow this is long... anyway the only reason why your pokemon would be attacking you if you wre being mean to them or your just plain ugly and you scare them to death..(kinda like my sister she scared a little kid and he ran away :P) so all the people would think that your being mean to it and you have to reason with your pokemon or it will burn you into ashes...yeah i know i could do a better answer but i'm in a hurry and i got to go

What would you do if your Altaria decided to leave you, after all the hours you've spent training with it?
I'd be kinda sad that it would... but if it did leave, I suppose it would have a good enough reason to do so. If it'll be happy leaving, then I'd let it leave for whatever it may want to do.

Imagine that Typhlosion was afraid, nobody wasn't sure of it's cause, but every time it went near you, it started to worry and the flames burst out at one hundred degrees. Typhlosion then launches those flames at you and you end up getting scorched. What would be everybody elses suspicion of what you've done, and what would you do?

I'd suppose everyone else would suspect that I've done something wrong to hurt Typhlosion, or just simply really annoyed it... I'd try to find out the reason for it, getting close to it (with some sort of protection on) and attempt to question the reasoning for the attacks. If I can't work it out... then *sigh* continue the scorching!! xDD

Power wise for ingame would be Eruption and Flare Blitz. Both reasonable moves, dealing high damage although I like Flare Blitz.

well i dont think they would pair but altaria wouldn't get hurt hat much by fire since altaria is a dragon type.. also i'm not too sure they would get along anyway since typhlosion is a land type pokemon and altaria is a sky type (meaning ones on land and the other ones in the air)

Nah, they don't suit each other that well. Typhlosion has its flames and fire and cloud wings don't mix well together. Fire + Cloud (water vapour) = steam!! Altaria may lose its wings... *gasp*

Extreme cold. Simply because it's blue-y coloured and it's nice cloud wings can keep it warm in those extremes.

Unfortunately, I have neither on all my working and not lost versions....and I have never had an Altaria. However back when I playerd Gold, I used Typhlosion quite a lot.

Nope. I've only had Typholsion on Gold.
And Altaria I've only had once (Due to Swablu bing so hard to train) although,
that once is now on my ruby so I should eventually.

Cyndaquil. Not because it's an actual starter Pokemon, but because it's my favourite and I wouldn't want it to evolve. Also, it would probably be the easiest to manage (except maybe Swablu) as a beginning trainer. And it's kawaii~
