No, not at all, the Pokemon suck, the main characters look weird, the music is terrible, and there are too many caves and long routes. It just doesn't have the "Pokemon" feel. However, it's much better than R/S/E IMO.

Well, Pokemon Diamond and Pearl are the top selling games over any other console games (including xbox and playstation, etc.) Nintendo DS' was also the top selling console over any others last month. (from what I hear) Does that answer your question?

no, not at all. Pokemon Diamond Is horrible and shall not be played thereby how bad It Is and the graphics are un-pleasing.

While one player isn't very fun, and could be considered a waste of time, Wi-Fi is extremely fun.

how can you say the graphics are no good? they have just a little bit of 3d mixed with the usual 2d, and i think it looks great. i was really surprised when i went to pick up my FR the other day, the graphics seem so horrible now

I did the same thing. If you want to see what we mean, try playing Diamond or Pearl for a long time and then go play R/S/E or FR/LG and then talk about how bad the graphics are.

The story is pretty much the same formula, and the region isn't that interesting compared to other regions, but I was only in the games for the competition and collection. I'd say you should get the games only if you're really into battling other players and collecting Pokemon.

The graphics show that nintendo is working on new and better graphics for a new game they are showing off just what the DS can do and don't say it sucks when its teh top selling DS game and is in the top five best games. sure some of te ideas and pokemon are weird but thats what people said about the pokemon from past gens when they first came out now all of those pokemon look completly normal to all of us.
So saying it wasn't worth it is just saying that you can't apperciate that nintendo is working on it.

Amen. Nintendo's best days are seven years behind it.

Dude just cause you can't deal with the fact that its new graphics they haven't tried doing anythinglike it before. So maybe if you played it more and got used to the graphics then you could stop critisicing something you don't know what you are talking about.

you guys who are hating on this game are insane. i would definitely call this the best set of pokemon games, not just because of the graphics, but because they went in a totally new and innovative direction by adding gts and worldwide wifi. it allows you to get so many new pokemon you couldnt gget before and opens up the game in a way that hasnt been done before

The features are good, sure, but the in-game stuff - the region, the story, the enemies - are pretty much the same. Like I said, only get it if you're into battling others and working on your collection.

I have to admit the the storyline is pretty dull, but I usually don't play for the story. I usually like to play to train and to capture Pokemon and trade with my friends. I find it to be an activity that I can enjoy with my best pals!~

It's pretty much the exact same as all the rest.

Only better.....

Hah. I thought it would be a totally lame, crappy rip-off version of the originals. Well, turns out I was wrong and now I'm addicted to it.

Basically, new pokemon, new professor, new rivals, new stuff, new region, new bad guys, new legends, new towns, new E4, new Champ., new images, etc.

Hn. Meh. I ended up voting 'Yes' in your poll, un. Dattebayo. XD

Excuse my randomness.

Ask Acrof if it's worth it.

Really though, buy it. The game rocks, the graphics rock, teh poegeymanz rock and the gameplay rocks.

In my own words "If you didn't buy it, it's sign you bought drugs instead."
