Does cloning work anymore?

Well I just attempted to clone a Zubat. I just wanted to try it out. I figured out when I needed to turn off my DS, did it, and restarted. I got the "Save file corrupted, previous file will be loaded" message. But when I checked the GTS it only said "Deposit". When I checked my PC box, the Zubat was in it.

Does cloning no longer work?

no, it works, but sometimes your internet strength is going to fluctuate regardless

you just have to keep trying at it
