Official Pokemon Battle Revolution Tournament.

Scizz is the bomb for letting me start this, xD.

All right, seeing as there are tournaments for pretty much every other game on PC, I decided I'd start off an organized PBR Tournament. To be able to play in this, you have to have you Wii hooked up to the internet, through an adapter, or wirelessly.

It's going to have the classic number of people, 16 if not many join, and 32 if a lot of people join.

Hopefully, no one will cheat, and it will be a valid tournament. So either you videotape the match, or there is an invisible bond of trust between battlers. If anybody is caught cheating, well they go bye bye, I guess.

Tournament Rules.

1. You must own Pokemon Battle Revolution, and be able to link up to the internet. If you don't have one or the other, then I'm sorry.

2. Item Clause isn't in effect. You may have more than one item on your Pokemon.

3. All battles will be single. No double battles. You can use either set levels.

4. I'm going to go with how the D/P Tournament works. When there are a lot of players, like in the beginning, there will be a dead line for all the first battles to be completed. etc. etc. When we get down to a small number, like the semi-finals, we'll host individual battles.

5. If two people are found to have argued over the match, or if anybody disconnects, then the person who disconnected will be disqualified. Both will be for the first one.

6 Hopefully, no one will hack. But if someone does do the unthinkable, then I'll have no choice but to report you. You'll also be banned from ALL future tournaments. [although it is pretty much impossible to get hacked pokemon into the game, seeing as they turn into bad eggs.]

The first tournament will start on July 27th, so have your connection and Pokemon ready by then.

If we have any no-shows, then they'll be disqualified.

Um...I doubt the "legendary users" had anything to do with that...rather, the annoyance of a Wobuffet vs Wobuffet battle (due to Shadow Tag, lack of an attacking move, and all that jazz) would have prompted the ban.

Uh, no. It does use your home network. How would the Wii connect to the Internet by itself? The Wi-Fi Connection isn't an ISP.

Why is Phione banned? Phione's not even an uber. If you're going to ban Phione you might aswell ban Wobuffet too. Phione's base stat total is 480(I think[i know it's 400 something]). So basically, the only pokemon that shouldn't be banned(accourding to your list) are pre-evolutions(Pichu, magby, munchlax etc...), Beutifly, beedrill, kricketune etc...(I'm not badmouthing bug pokemon, they just generally have low stats), and of corse the all powerful, magical, uber...Magikarp.

Also, when you have someone's FC on PBR, can you just use your DS pokemon or do you have to re-copy them onto the game and use them? If I do have to load them on, I will but I want to know whether or not I have to.

Okay, I've been thinking about this tourney. I'd like it to actually stay alive, but it's not doing so well. To add on to that, I just realized that my competitive pokes are only from level 30-40, so if I battle online, they won't go up a to a set level. I'm not sure if it doesn't when you battle online, but if it doesn't, I'm gonna have to withdraw from this tourney. Please tell me it does set the level to like 50 or 100 like Pearl.

If you find that your not ready to battle (which you should be in any manner, the thing rounds your pokemon to level 50 and with no legendaries allowed, honestly, everyone stands a chance) please post in the Battle Revolution Tourney thread annoucing your withdrawl.

If you were waiting for your opponent after sending them a PM, click their username and look at when they were last online (it says it right on there). It's now August 6th: if they haven't been on since July, you can post that in the thread and that will result in your opponent's dismissal.

Well I re-sent last minute PMs to Hoshiko, Blaziken, Chibi and Pogiforce. Hopefully even if they can't battle each other, one person from each fight will at least come and say "hey I've been waiting". I think Chibi is active, so he/she might come back.

Oh and R.A.M. I constituted as him winning his match as his partner is the most inactive of the all the battlers. Let's hope round 2 starts smoothly on Wednesday!

I still use Dusk Balls and stuff on legendaries, though. I always save my Master Balls for reasons unknown. Also, you can get Master Balls via the lottery. =D

Why can't you just be fair and work hard, training un-legendary Pokemon? It's too easy to raise legends and they get insane stats, thats why they're always banned. That simple. And Pogiforce isn't coming haha, I say let Chibi through and let's start round two! =P

sounds to me like you keep pushing the date back because no one is battlin =P and i AM training my team, but they're currently good enough as they are to battle. so if this guy doesnt show up i will progress to the next, dont count me as a forfit.

Legendaries don't always have insane stats. Look at Articuno. It's stats aren't that great, and neither is its movepool. =/

And on a lot of other forums, we just ban ubers, not legendaries.

Also, my DS's top screen is all white and stuff so I can't see anything. If I could, I'd finish EV-training my mudkipz and use that.

If Chibi still wants to play, Beast says he doesn't even own a Wii XD (he thought this was just another DS battle thread). So Chibi would be in the last 8 with a walkover.

Yeah Mithos wins over me, I can't seem to get a signal through when I connect using a friend.

I can use the "Battle Someone" option perfectly, i don't know why the friend battles won't work.

It says I have a firewall intercepting or whatever...but..it's not. And I checked, the firewall doesn't need any updates.

Haha, either way Mithos is the 2nd into the last eight.

Yeah, no prob Mithos. I have to check, its undoubtedly my connection. For some reason something is blocking it at the very last second, otherwise I wouldn't be able to log online at all, right? I'll figure it out in due time and be back on the PBR circuit.
