Knights of Lucario Tournament Clan is recruiting

Yes, you heard right. The clan has been in existence since the Japanese version of Diamond and Pearl came out. Now, with the American version having been out for almost 5 months, we're looking for the greatest trainers of all time. We have regular tournaments all the time, as well as specialty tournaments, and once and a while an exclusive tournaments. We're striving to give out the best prizes possible, but it's hard to give out prizes, when no one will claim them! ;);)

For example, one of our Specialty Tournaments is:
Ruin Cup
This Cup will present a challenge to Trainers, and forces them to use their best strategies for a 6 v. 6 match. 3 out of the 6 monsters in your team must be from fossils which include:
Omanyte, Omastar, Kabuto, Kabutops, Aerodactyl, Lileep, Cradily, Anorith, Armaldo, Cranidos, Rampardos, Shieldon, Bastiodon, and Relicanth and 1 Regi are allowed. Regigigas is permitted to be used for this tournament only. You may have up to 3 Pokemon that are not from fossils.

Right now, the Knights of Lucario isn't that big, but we have major plans for expansion in the not too distant future. Most of our tournaments are conducted in 3 vs. 3 single battles, however this is not the case for all of them.

Do you realize that out of this list, the only Pokemon worth using are Aerodactyl, and Rampardos? I'd say Bastiodon too, but with two 4x weaknesses, his usefulness is down the chute. And you're allowing the Regis... why? First, they're legendaries. Second, they're defensive legendaries, and third, with the new metagame, they're no longer good defensive legendaries. If you're trying to build a league around Rock Pokemon - which is just as narrow-sighted and monotonous as that Fighting-element tourney someone else posted - there are way better Rock-elements to be used, like Rhyperior, and maybe Tyranitar or Aggron. This doesn't force people to use their best strategies, it forces them to use low-tier Pokemon and hope that the team they squeezed out sucks slightly less than the other guy's. Enjoy your recruitment drive; it may take a while.

3v3 battles suck anyways. Cuts in half your strategic options. I never battle 3v3 except for Nebilim challenges, and only then because Asch for some reason forces it.

You aren't obliged to reply, if you're only going to bash it. If you read correctly, the Ruin Cup is 6 on 6. These restrictions are meant to make the trainer use his/her wisdom and skills as it clearly presents a challenge. If you weren't up for the challenge of it, you didn't have to reply. It's as simple as that. :)

That bit about Lucario was unnecessary, and ignorant at best. We allow the use of Lucario in most tournaments. Show me where it says we don't. Of course, your opinion about him not being "knightly" is just that: an opinion. He's the icon of the group, that doesn't necessarily mean he's a knight himself. It's in his honor. I thought someone of your intelligence would catch onto that.

Again, for those who wish to insult the league, there's no use in you posting about it here.

I'd like to see any one of you host a popular tournament page. I hope you realize how much work is needed to put into it, even though you don't see it with your eyes alone. If you're just going to attack our ideas without even trying them first-hand, I advise you not say anything at all. If you don't like it, fine. But please do not futilly attempt to ruin it for others who may wish to actually enjoy our tournaments.

Omastar can be quite a beast, mind you. Outclassed by Gorebyss, in my opinion, but most prefer Oma to Gore. I'd say Omastar is much better than Rampardos; Ram has truly insane Attack, and surprisingly decent Speed, but being able to be OHKOed by either a Surf or Earthquake is kind of a downside to him.

But anyways, you shouldn't put down a Pokemon like Omastar!

Chill out, Even though ichida has intellegence, His ego shows alot more than how smart he actually is. His loss to aragornbird in the last tournament shows that.

Alright, I'm going to release this new idea to you all that will be implemented shortly to the clan. We're going to need 8 people that will want to be the King or Queen of their own Castle. This is going to be similar to being a Gym leader, but with a medieval twist. Should you defeat the King or Queen, you will receive the Crown and you are allowed to take their place, should you so choose to do so.

To be a King or Queen of your own Castle, you just need to apply here and be a trainer in good standing on PC. We want only the best to be running their own Castle.

Red Castle of Wisdom (fire, fighting, rock):
Blue Castle of Courage (water, ice, flying): Shinybreloom
White Castle of Purity (normal, flying):
Black Castle of Fear (dark, fighting, dragon, ghost, poison):

You must have a team of 6 if you wish to be a King or Queen, but it is not meant for you to paste your team here. You can PM me your team via PC or KoL private message with your team. The great thing about being a King or Queen is that you can change your team from battle to battle if you want to.

Note: each castle does have somewhat of an elemental theme to it along with its respective virtue, but you are not obliged to stick with it. It's recommended you have a team that goes along with the virtue rather than the elemental theme.

You can use hacked monsters in battle, as long as they aren't hacked in stats. However, you are NOT allowed to trade hacked monsters to anyone for any reason in our Clan.

But that's just me. Please refrain from from using legendaries if you would happen to become a king of a castle.

You can have dual types. Before I can make you an official King, you have to first sign up at the main site. That's where all the battling will be done through. We also ask that you prove your worthiness in a battle against one of our members. It doesn't matter if you win or lose, we just want to see how you battle and react to different situations.
