People of PokeCommunity, today my diamond game was stolen. i will not go into the chan of events that lead to my bag being unattended, but when i got back, i checked the bag. the front puch was open, so i looked inside, i was releived to see my DS was still there, but i checked my gamecase, my game was gone.

I had 17 fully EV trained pokemon, 3 of them were shiny. aside from those shinys, i had 19 more. I had Every legendary aside from suicune, I had all 3 johto starters from playing emerald 3 times, put days into finishing the pokedex, i was missing 2 pokemon, only one was legendary. My game clock had reached 130 hours. I will also not go into how pissed i am, but i have a question for all of you.

What do i do now? I put 130 hours of my life into something that was taken away. (dont just say "dude , its just pokemon, because this could be applied to many things, a stolen painting, a program, ect.)

Dude...
That's... deep.
Really, man. -cry-
-sob- -cry some more-
You loved that game, and it just vanishes.
-sob-
Fully VERY CLOSLEY examine the whole bag, just in case.
If you find it, then I feel very happy for you.
My friend got his whole DS Lite and his Mario Kart DS stolen.

You just cant trust people dude. I know someone (used to be my friend, one of my closest) who stole my ENTIRE backpack. I had about $298 and my DS, My bro's psp, and all my school books. He was retarded enough to invite me over to his house, where i stumbled upon my backpack. I was so pissed at him that if i hadnt controled myself, who knows what could have happened. He hadnt spent the money but he had damaged my ds. The point here, is to not trust anyone (excluding family). People are always looking for opportunities to help themselves.

Oooooouch. A few months ago I thought I had lost my game case, which had all my GBA games in it. You better believe I was pissed. Trust me, I know what it's like to have lost weeks of effort. The only thing left to do is take what you've learned and start again. Since you played Diamond, buy a new copy of Pearl, so it's not completely stale.

Luckily I found my game case under the couch after a few hours of searching, though. XDD.

Yeah, and be glad you only spent 130 hours. In Pearl alone I have clocked 375~ hours. I clocked around 130~ each in Sapphire, LeafGreen, and Emerald, as well. I almost lost nearly 400 hours of work. :P

IPanda the reason they didnt take the ds is probably because they didnt want him to notice his game was gone so quickly. its pretty smart thinking imo.

My mom puts my lost stuff in this cabinet that I call "The Lost Stuff Cabinet".
And is a preacher someone who enlightens the hopes of sad people that have given up their goals, or is it a fruit picker? XD

Yeah, i made sure it wasn't in the bag, but I was in a different state, i was at a (the?) kings dominion because a friend gave me a free ticket. so i dont think i'll find it under the couch =( but still i'm glad you found your stuff ichada, you've been really nice to me, helped me get 3 legendarys for what should have been one simple trade.
(this was the first thing that happened to me when i got there, so i didnt enjoy the park much, but i can deal with that)

By the way, i'm just as confused as you are that my very nice ds wasn't taken.

Whoops. I responded to the other thread.

Anyways, that's awful. But re-check and re-re-check your bag. I thought I lost my iPod once and I was enraged until I realized it was hidden in a little pouch on the inside of my bag. I also lost Animal Crossing: Wild World TWICE and I ended up with three of the same game...Lol XD

Anyway, if there's anything I can do to help, just tell me.

Nobody would take your game, but not the DS, and nobody would go through the trouble of rummaging through your bag for that long to find a single game. It must be around somewhere, you may have dropped it.

Anyway, that sucks.

anemos
July 12th, 2007, 01:19 AM
wow, thats kinda harsh. even if it was somehow removed from a closed game case and dropped, its now in the hands of some lucky kings dominion janitor. :<

It is suspicious that the DS was left along. But thank goodness thats the still left because $130 is sometihng (well for me I am broke after my senior year) is alot of moolah.

Maybe you might of misplaced it. I am so crazy that if I brought my DS somewhere I always carry it in my pockets with a protective case. Or I simply leave it in the box it came in at home. Well good luck I hope it is returned or you do find it.

I'd buy the game again though. I know 130 hours cant be replaced but the joy can.

dude that sucks a ton...

I lost my fire red which had 200 hours of playing time, my favorite two level 100 pokemon (kyogre and espeon) which for me training my pokemon to level 100 was the coolest thing ever XD

I didn't know about ev's so their not good or anything, but all of my good pokemon are in my firered

oh wait I forgot to add, I left it at my old house and when we went back to get it the new owners wouldn't let us go search for it because of "security" reasons =/

also my old best friend stole my old yu-gi-oh game, I was mad for a while then decided I didn't like yu-gi-oh anymore

I will buy a copy of pearl, BUT, if someone finds a game Name:Milo, ID:26045, if the finder would send it to me, i'd be willing to send them something in the realm of 60$, and I would breed/prepare anything for that person fromt hat point on. it is essentialy nothing, but i dont think i can part with any more money before having a new game to play. (besides, it is a lot to me. i dont get much money)

I was friends with two brothers, Chris and William.
I used to go to their house to play card games, and I always seemed to win against William.

Then one day, William asked to see my cards so he could build a deck just like mine. I let him have a look, and then he came back with a deck full of common cards; in card sleeves with sticky notes on the cards with the names of the cards in my deck.

Anyway, I played with him and he lost again. I think he was very upset, because the next time I went over I lost one of my favorite cards, "Harpie's Feather Duster". Chris helped me look for it, and when I couldn't find it I just left.

The next day I came over to see if they had found it, but when I came over, William said he had just traded a friend for a Harpie's Feather Duster card.

He was very suspicious, so I asked to meet his so called friend.
He seemed nice enough, he said, "Yeah, I trade that to Chris."
So then I asked if I could see the rest of his card collection.

A look of panic washed over his face, he glanced over at William who looked very stupefied.

Next week I came over to just play with Chris.
Everything was going splendidly, but then I needed to use the lavatory. -In retrospect, that wasn't such a good idea.-

I left my belongings behind, and went with Chris so he could direct me to their bathroom.

When I returned, everything seemed to be right where I had left it. We continued our game; but later into the game I noticed I was short two cards.

I was very upset. I looked everywhere I could look,
-Except Chris and William, I mean, we were supposed to be friends, and I would feel very hurt if someone accused me of stealing. So I didn't ask them to empty their pockets.

But on the next day, Chris came over to visit. He said he had found one of my missing cards on his Brother's dresser.

I was very furious. And I didn't want to come over to play with them, because I was afraid William would steal more of my cards.

A week and a day later, Chris comes over again to say he had just traded some of his rarest cards to get one of mine back.
I was very happy; until he mentioned he wanted me to him trade to get it back. So I did.

I tried to discuss the matter with their parents,
but to no avail. They just didn't seem to care what kind of devious things their children were doing.

Anyway, I'm very sorry for your loss. I can empathize with your distress.

With all due respect,

~Monty Kensicle

This thread makes me feel lucky to live in an area where people make fun of people who like pokemon.

My brother was playing his silver version and then my dad took his game and put it in the trunk. He said that he would throw it away, so when my dad wasn't looking, I took it out of the trunk of the car and gave it back to my brother. A few days later, my dad saw me playing my gold version when I wasn't supposed to play it. He took it away and put it in the trunk of his car. He said that he would give it back to me in a few days. I guess that after a while he realized that he hadn't thrown away my brothers silver version yet, so he went to the trunk of the car. He only remembered that it was a pokemon game, so he took MY gold version with MY Gameboy Advanced SP and threw it away! I mean, my own dad! *snifle* He hardly knows about pokemon, but he should at least repay me after what he did!

If someone stole my diamond version or my pearl version, I'd be really mad, especially if they stole my diamond version. I pre-ordered both of them and bought them with my own money (I have a really hard time saving money and I lost the chance of getting new pokemon cards for a few months because I wanted those games [I pre-ordered them in the end of February, it took me a long time to find a store where they held pre-orders that early]). I had to pay over $80 just to get them both!

-Pats your back- Iv'e been in a similar situation. I had lost my Nintendo DS at Wal-mart one time. It had my prized games in it: Animal Crossing: Wild world & Pokemon Ruby.

I was being retarted a w00ing over some Pokemon action figures my dad had got me & left it in the DA** CART >_< I realized something wasn't right..then halfway through the drive i'm like "OMG! My DS?!" I looked for it then realized..I left it at WAL MART. We went back but me & my dad couldn't find it.

I cried in the corner of my kitchen for like two frickin hours. I was so upset. We went back a second time & we had called them beforehand but no luck. THEN Easter came & somebody had returned it, but once we went to Wal mart they said "Sorry, we can't find it." I wanted to TEAR the employees' heads off. Then they gave us a call a few hours later after that. They found it! It still had everything in it too!

I was reunited with my game and I lived happily ever after..For that moment in time anyway xD

If you find yours. Hoorah for you & kudos to whoever had the kindness in their heart to return it. If they don't well..I place a hex on his/hers sorry bum! Dx
