Arm Thrust or Cross Chop should really be over In Fight, because the defenses dropping are going to hurt it. Hariyama is supposed to be somewhat bulky. Knock Off is good. Maybe you can subpunch with it, or even try Belly Drum. It gets Whirlwind and Counter, too.

I would suggest using a dark move for those pesky psychic types. He can learn Payback or Faint attack, but i would go with payback because he is kind of slow. Knock Off is ok, but most people dont rely on their items. I would suggest Belly Drum instead. He could be extremely powerful with Belly Drum.

yes hariyama actually has the speed and the defense to pull off belly drum. and when it does pull it off, it destroys entire teams that don't have the right wall. close combat is a good move but i'm not so sure about hariyama with it, especially if you put ev's in defense.

here's a magical set:
Hariyama @ Sitrus Berry
Impish Nature
Ability: Thick Fat
228 HP/180 SPD/100 DEF
-Close Combat
-Faint Attack/Earthquake/Ice Punch
-Thunderpunch
-Belly Drum
the basics: you must pair him up with a special sweeper that is weak to either fire or ice attacks to invite blissey in. blissey will use ice beam, which is where you bring in hariyama. when blissey switches out, use belly drum, and from then on, WREAK HAVOC!!
i use this set along with Yanmega. yanmega is very fragile, but with Hypnosis, he really works well with hariyama.
