I got a darkrai from the Japanese glitch and i was thinking of a good moveset for it.

i might try:

substitute (to use sleep inducing moves or waiting to wake up without having to worry)

Dark pulse (just a offensive attack)

and now i'm not sure for the rest, i was thinking having Dark void or hypnosis and was also thining of calm mind or nightmare

Does anyone have any suggestions?

I'd go with Dark Void over Hypnosis as it has higher accuracy (80 to 70). PM's moveset is otherwise fine.

Dark Void over Hypnosis also because it hits BOTH opponents.

Hypnosis > Dark Void if you are planning on palying 2v2 battles with sleep clause.... otherwise Dark Void, this is also Serebiis current POTW (Pokemon of the week) so head on over to http://www.serebii.net/potw-dp/491.shtml to find out a lot more info and some good competitive movesets for this poke..

I don't know whether to pick between nightmare or dreameater. Nightmare damage description on serebii is odd and i don't know if it take a quarter of their HP or decreases i'ts effectiveness

I also don't know wheter to put dreameater becasue of the fact that it gives the user health...

Giving the user health is GOOD!!!

Nightmare is exactly the same as Ghost pokemon Curse. only it can be used when asleep.

I meant the health giving as a pro but the fact that it could not take away a 1/4 or as much of their health is a con.

By the way, does nightmares effect mean it takes away 1/4 of their health or other

1/8 their health loss per turn

No, that's his effect he gets normally. I'm talking about the move nightmare.

Oh, I'm sorry, yeah 1/4 per sleeping turn.

Dream eater is terrible, Dont use that. Use something else.

Not that bad on Daraki, though, at least in my opinion. Oh wait, they might switch out, making it useless...

dark void
dark pulse
nightmare YOU do NOT need Nightmare, it has it's ability
substitute/rest Whats the point of having these?

which one would be better, Substitue or rest?

suggestions in bold, DO NOT GET NIGHTMARE

supersyther

because nighmare does a lot of damage.

I.E

a lvl 100 blissey EVed on HP comes out, other moves will hardly dent it wheras nightmare+ ability takes away 3/8 of it's health,
that's almost half!

If blissey comes out, just sleep it! It'll get the Bad Dreams damage, and you can use Calm Mind to give you a good stat raise. If the foe doesn't switch Blissey, its his funeral

supersyther

but the bad dreams stat only takes away 1/8 hp per turn. the blissey will porbably be holding leftovers cancelling it out!

Even if it is, what could Blissey do to a Calm Mind Darkrai?

supersyther
July 16th, 2007, 06:38 PM
it could ice beam/annoy with poisions (darkrai has fairly low HP). Does a blissey have high sp.def or def?

Dark Void
Dark Pulse
Roar of Time
Spacial Rend

He can learn those moves from an event that just happened in Japan. 10th movie. How you'll get it... idk :P

Calm Mind up with it. Just make sure you're playing sleep clause.

Wha? Wha? Wha? Roar of Time AND Spacial Rend, did I miss something here? the first time I used Roar of Time AND Spacial Rend in the same moveset... hmmm... that never happened. And even Roar of Time by itself, NO!!!
lol, this is from a glitch so that move set is slightly flawed!

It isn't from a glitch, Roar of time and Spacial Rend are Legit moves for Darkrai, but its pointless to use either of them, it only effects dragon types...
