I'm thinking of having an Arcanine, but I can't think of a moveset. Here's what I got.

Flare Blitz > Fire Fang > Flame Wheel imo. Fire Fang should only be used with Life Orb and Flare Blitz should be used with whatever other item you have. As for Arcanine's Speed, it's good, but you shouldn't overestimate it; many things will still outspeed Arcanine in which case Extremespeed is an extremely useful finishing move. It will, for example, save you from a Focus Sashed Weavile, Aerodactyl or any other fast Pokémon with Focus Sash that has already absorbed one hit that would otherwise have KOed it. I'd say Arcanine doesn't need Howl, though, it's more like:

- Extremespeed
- Fire Fang/Flare Blitz

It has pretty good type coverage and good Speed and Attack, meaning that if it's used right, it can be quite deadly.
