Second, are there ways other than AR and attending conventions to get the legends like Mew and Deoxys? And if not, where can I obtain the AR's and how much do they normally cost?

if you dont know how to get an AR, you can get them at best buy or your friendly nearby electronic store. They're around $30.

I choose not to cheat and dont use AR or gameshark. only for PS2.

Cheating is hacking & Cloning ~

AR is an actual product ~

And some of us can't fly to Japan to get the Pokes we want ~
