Trainer help

Yeah so i've been trying out this new hacking thing and I got stuck on making trainers.

I Added a new person and made them a trainer in advanced map. Then I went to P.E.T to try to edit their sprite and pokemon. But I couldn't find the trainer I had made... Did i have to something? can someone just help me out? Thanks!

What game are you hacking? Also, what did you use to replace the sprite? Make sure you have dumped the gfx in RS ball.
