What is it? And where is it?

What the... a shiny invisible bulbasaur, i never heard such a thing?

It is a glitch that has no sprite, makes the sound of a Bulbasaur and appears shiny. If you attack it, it says there is no target and the battle ends.

That must be a glitch, it never happened to me, at the oreburgh mines.

EDIT: btw you should of tried catching it, especially if its shiny.

Shining and invisible? Reminds me of the Invisible Pink Unicorn parody religon, lol.

This must be the D/P version of Missingno.

I seriously doubt that, its just a sprite missing glitch with a different pokemon cry.

not so. i've come across it before i had encountered anything new (because i had to start again...grr...), except mine had an actual image of a Bulbasaur. which makes you wonder. i didn't want to take any chances of knocking it out, so i threw a PokéBall...almost had it, too. :'(

so, the search continues. if i find it again, i'll post it here. i will find the elusive son of a piehole. lol

umm, if you have an AR hack a masterball at begining to see if you can snag it.

also this kind of looks cool, I don't really have time to search for it though, so I'll leave it to you guys.

Well on some other thread, i remember reading that a dude catch a level 20 ivysaur with careful nature, somewhere around route 210's, that might be part of the glitch... T.T hard to say.

and my post is skipped like always... well just so this message isn't totally spam,

why wouldn't the guy keep it as a bulbasaur instead of an ivysaur?

How many times have you encountered it?

RiderLeangle

There is proof of its existance because I saw a youtube video
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jltCqqkywRI

And if its possible to encounter one without a Gameshark/ActionReplay/Other Cheat Device can it be caught? A level 0 spriteless Bublasaur cry with Shiny Stars is pretty damn awesome!

Awesome, nice proof, so it can happen to anyone.:P

I'll look and maybe catch it, can It harm my game, if not I'll use one of my six Master Balls.

!!!

I know this one!

My little brother was playing with his action replay code for wild Pokemon modification, which worked basically on "Number of item in first slot of inventory=number of Pokemon. Example, have 151 masterballs in the first slot, and you find Mew. Anyway, he threw away *ALL* his items, (he didn't save, he was just messing around), and used the code. What he found afterwards was a blank shadow on the ground for the foe Pokemon, which had Bulbasaur's cry and was shiny. Oh yeah, and there was a pixelated mess right at the top of the screen. In other words... this "shiny invisible Bulbasaur" is none other than D/P's #0: MissingNo.

And to think I was going to say you were out of your mind. ^^ Not that I know how to see it without cheating...
