What HM moves do I need for victory road?

im gonna victory road... but i dunno what hms i need?
pointers?

If I remember correctly... (which I probably won't since I did this ages ago)

Surf
Rock Smash
Strength
and Waterfall? not too sure on all those, but I remember Rock Smash and Strength are needed definitely...

You NEED Rock Climb, there is no way to get through without it. As well as the HMs mentioned above.

edit2: DO i need waterfall inside there? i used waterfall to get up here but theres a pokemon center here.. so..?

Waterfall is only for getting up from the end of the Victory Road into the Pokemon Center, otherwise you can't get it and will have to do it again... xD so yes.. it is needed outside at the very end.

EDIT: Oh and De-fog is needed for the second part of the Victory Road btw, once you've beaten the E4 and the fat man has gotten out of the way from the cave entrance.

Defog, like Flash in the ealier generations, is optional. You don't need Defog, but it helps.

Defog is kinda a waste of a move... but you can get through fog easier than in darkness since you can actually kinda see through the fog.
