Is there any dangers in Cloning Pokemon?

Theres a danger of somone taking ur pokemon ya cloneing but if ya offer Dia or Pal as ya wanted and set it to 9 or below they can't do that as Nintendo have banned lv 9 or below dia n pal also ya can use Mew

You know, the glitch where you change the time by 30minutes.

the only risk in cloning is losing your pokemon.

The risk depends on what are you offering for your shiny, legend, uber, ect. if you are cloning using the GTS.

Before you connect to the GTS, that is if you are using it, it will do an automatic save.

I don't mean cloning on the GTS, I mean this method : 1. Put the Pokemon you want to clone into your Party, from the BOX. If you already have it in the party, put them into the BOX, save, and take the Pokemon out.

2. Save your game. Then, when you boot up your DS (Lite), change the hour by an amount (30 Min, 60 Min, so on).

3. Reload the Pokemon Diamond/Pearl save.

4. The team should be of the current save file, but the BOX should be of the previous file.


Does that include any dangers?


I do not know any other ways of how, myself, can clone.

I found out the other method, and have successfully cloned my Dialga, so if anyone will trade for a Palkia, I'll be off to the trading forum then, thanks for all of the help :)

Noo, not the method I posted worked, the GTS one, I learnt it and used it, I have now traded the cloned Dialga for a L 51 Palkia :)

i have done alot of cloneing in the past on my emrald and have never had a problem.
is it the same way of cloning in d/p i mean with the computer in the battle tower or did they fix it...if they did where is the new cloning place and is it a high risk or low risk like emrald.

that method above sound like Emerald. there is always a risk when cloning Pokemon or doing any type cheat.

Well, the method is working well, and I just ask for the same Pokemon that I put up for trade, with around the same level, so even if I do lose it, I won't lose THAT much :)

Nintendo have blocked them for been traded at that lvl! but that only applys to MEW PAL DIA

That's all a load, at least pertaining to the Mew at lvl 9 and under. People are finding ways to circulate them, I would have had my EV'd shiny Gallade stolen that way had someone not had the same exact one. There ARE Mews circulating, and it's apparently like a game of hot potato. If you recieve one, you can trade it away within a minute or so and it gets processed by GTS. So as far as what to ask for, I still go with lvl 100 Bidoof, I consider it much safer nowadays.

You can't ask for a male Vespiquen, it's not possible. It's like trying to ask for a female Latios, they don't let you do it.

Oi, Michiru. The character limit is there for a reason. If you're outside of the trading and battling forums, you'd better not bypass it.
