Chat Online Via the Microphone?

I know you can chat on WI-FI, but how doyuo get onto it?
I have the Headphone/microphone headset thing for the DS Lite.
Can i only chat during battles? can you chat over DS Wireless connection (not wi-fi but just near each other).

Do you have to turn the chat on?

I would really like to know this so please do help :D:P

You can voice chat by either trading or battling on wifi automatically, as for wireless connection, i dont think so...

All you do is just initiate with Voice chat on. I'm not sure how to work the mic set, since I've got an original DS.

yah, I have ds lite (brothers) and normal one (mine) both you just speak into and the other sound comes out where the speakers are, you can click X in the wifi waiting area to turn it off.

Why would you want Voice chat for local wireless if you're like... right next to each other? O_o
