A premonition of the bloody colored skies
An angel without a sense of mercy
And so began the cries

Hidden away, and locked behind the doors
The answer you seek, it’s not too far
But just out of reach, and ever so close
But your hand falls short and a fall you take

Never knowing, but always dreaming
Dreams of red, and dreams of blue
Sapphire skies and bloody rain puddles
Deadly fires and crystal spires

A premonition of the bloody colored skies
An angel without a sense of mercy
And so continue the cries

A wild fire ravages everything in its path
But will that be you
Or will you wake up?

Never to know where you belong
You wonder and you wander
Across the plains and through the skies
You’ll seek the answer, until you die

You can’t help but ask; what’s it for?
But an answer can’t be recalled
And the search continues for more

If you wander far enough
Never stop asking why
Never stop question motives
And always watching lies

Don’t stop feeling for that day
It’s only a little ways away
You know it’s coming soon
And you can’t help but shake

A premonition of the bloody colored skies
An angel without a sense of mercy
And so continue the cries

Don’t worry, the feeling will fade
Give up and fade away
Or will you wake up?

Never to know where you belong
You wonder and you wander
Across the plains and through the skies
You’ll seek the answer, until you die

You can’t help but ask; what’s it for?
But an answer can’t be recalled
And the search continues for more

A premonition of the bloody colored skies
An angel without a sense of mercy
And so ends the cries

But if you can help it, don’t look down
You’ll only help yourself to drown
