Mario Party

Who here thinks Mario Party games do not suck. I know plenty who think it does, but I want to know people who do like it. I don't want any haters. I want people I can talk about it with.

Sarting with which one is your favorite?

I like two, Mario Party 8 and Mario Party 7. I just figured out that you can play the deluxe cruise with only one person...

I like the series, but only in small doses. The games are fun if you play them, like the name, with a party of people. But on your own it's just boring and the games haev been going downhill since like...the second.

That said, I was playing it just the other day. I want to get my hands on the eight version soon because I hear it's a bit of a refresher for the series and it definitely needs it.

My favourite was probably the second one, even though I played it a grand total of...what...twice? XD; It introduced items and it was before the games started getting stale.

I missed one and three. I have number two. That was fun. I bought four because I expected it to be fun, but it wasn't. But...out of all the GCN ones that was probably the best. They just went downhill after four.

Oh snap, I didn't know you had 2. :[ I would've demanded you take an N64 and that to one of your parties if I did. I loved 2. XD;

I admit I liked 6 better than 4 because of the microphone that you never get to use, though. XD; I think.

I bought number five because I need two games in order to get Zelda: Collector's Edition. I chose that as one, but with no intentions of playing it. XD

And, six was for the microphone which didn't work very well.

Do you have number two? Or have you just played it? I can bring it over sometime if you want? My N64 controllers don't work :x

I played it twice at a friend's house when I lived in Halifax. :[ I haven't played it since. So yes, bring it over some time omgggg~ XD;

I got 4 just because I didn't have a Mario Party game. o_o And then 6 for the mic, yeah. @_@

Mario Pary is fun part 7 is my favorite!!

BTW I think Mario Party 8 is kind of lame, I rented it last night and stop playin like in 10 mins.MP8 is fun but it gets boring really easily.(Good thing I also rented Mario Strikers Charged)

Don't...most MP games get kinda lame? o_O I mean, I'm usually bored of it after one game of 15 turns, let alone anything longer or any second games.

I also can't play it unless I'm playing it with more than one person, usually. XD

I've played every minigame on my versoins (except "Last" on MP8) and really I like them.

Its the only game I can play with my mom where she doesn't make her charecter die if it was real. But yeah, I don't like playing by myself except for minigames (so i can see if i can beat CP's on hard mode, which really is easy)

I have 1,2,3 and 4. I think the N64 versions are better in my opinion.

The first one had minigames where you spin the control stick around many times and make your palms sore. I'm glad that they took that concept out for the later games.

2 is my fave by far. I loved the themed levels (with the Mario party dressing up as characters according to the theme) and the minigames and I enjoyed playing them with my sister.

The only GC game I have is 4. When I realised that they were making more Mario Party games, I thought, "Good grief!"

The Mario Party series had some bad times (which most people now would associate with) but it also had some good times. Probably which is why it's still a growing series.

The only ones I have are Mario Party and Mario Party 4, But I like them, especially funny when with more people.

I like mario party 8 a lot but i have to say i was dissapointed with shy guy's board, have to say thought the reviews were harsh i thought it made good use of the wiimote although it could have involved the nunchuk a lot more

I don't really agree on that personally I like just having the remote I kinda like shy guys board too....anyway I love ALL the Mario Partys but I think 8 is my Fave

Things went downhill after 4. The only Mario Party I missed is the 3rd one. My favorite games were the 1st and 2nd Mario Party. What they all have in common is that Mario Party is a blast to play with at least 3 people.

i like MP7, 8 is just a bunch of confusing stuff, now there are no orbs but dumb candies. ugh and they all suck (the candies that is). anyway, MP7 is the best

Well some annoyingb things I personally dis-liked in MP8 were
1.The announcer dude that name ecscapes me. He was so annoying. I made fun of him actually.
2. The way you sit or where you sit makes a big diffrence. I really do not like that. Such as i was sitting in one place and the controller barely worked and I missed out on 2 minigames. And then I moved and it worked perfect. Darn those Wii-motes.
3. Limited amount of minigames was a big deal. It only had about 40 minigames whereas others had about maybe 60-70. Big deal for me since I'm a minigame fanatic.

Future MP games need moar boards, like MP1 did.

MP8 was kind of a dissapointment to me, in my opinon.
Some of the mini-games are hard to control, like the driving ones ><, but that's not the main problem.
There's a few things missing, like the 8-player team mode, Koopa Kids, a random things happening during the last 5 rounds, etc.

That game was from Mario party 4. My god, I LOVED that game! Me and my sister always had battles to see who would win (since we both rocked) Another favorites was the one that was like Tetris, the one where you had to catch the criminal, and the Go-Kart racing one. All from 4. I also loved MP6, but that one is sadly scratched.

Up until Mario Party 5, the games were great. I didn't like how you started using orbs in the gamecube games, because buying items was much cooler. I also don't like how with the new Mario Parties the game is barely based on skill at all, and the outcome of each game is becoming more and more random. Mario Party 2 was great, 3 was amazing, and 4 and 5 were good. Mario Party 1 was..meh. I've loved Mario for over 10 years now, and sadly, the entire franchise is getting more and more childish with each game they come out with. For instance, in Mario Party 8, you eat candy, instead of just buying orbs (or just plain items for that matter) and you can make Wario fart o.0. I am enjoying Mario Party less and less with each new game they come out with..I wish they could make em like they used to.

I LOVE the game where you run away with the boulder and it is the BEST game when all three of my freinds are playing with me and We always laugh when someone trips over a rock or jumps and touches the boulder in mid-air and rolls down *chuckles*
