Do you think Ash will win the Sinnoh Leage in Pokemon Diamond and Pearl?

We'll let's look at his previous accomplishments...

No Ash will not win the Sinnoh league.

He's not going to win the Sinnoh league... he might reach top 4 at best, thats how story line works.

I think Lucas is going to be his rival for the league

Lucas is not in the pokemon cartoons only on the game.

n No he's not going to win he is probally going to lose like always, maybe in the next generation he will win

I don't think Ash will win this league either. He probably won't win one of the region leagues until the series is about to end and who knows when that will happen. He'll probably make the top four or go to the last battle in the league and lose again against his rival this time.

Just like May and most likely Dawn, they will not let them when, Ash he keeps losing, but hes too OVERCONFIDENT and the other Trainer beats him and he whines about losing, and again let they said before, that's how the storyline works, it's a cruel place for them

No, As overly predictive as the show is. Ash will not win the Sinnoh League. Just like in the past. It repeats itself.

Nope, He may come in Second place and then be thrilled that he got to 2nd Place.

Then he'll go on one more Journey to a new land in Japan.

But, that would be bittersweet beacuse EVERYONE wants to be Number # 1

No he wont win..I have a feeling Gary is going to win becuase ash seems to almost always ruin him in the leagues and since his eletrivire beat pikachu and Gary is well head with sinnoh knowledge I think he will win.

Except, Gary isn't battling in Leagues anymore. He's a Pokemon researcher.

If there is another generation in the works, then Ash isn't going to win another league. The writers will have him lose to the rival of the league, go back home to Pallet Town, and then find out about the new region somehow. This way, the show is still an advertisement for the games.

*agrees with Hanako Tabris*

Ash would never win. Maybe third or something, but I really don't expect him to win the Sinnoh League. He will lose, get sad like always , return to Pallet Town, bump against Gary [ who tells him about a new region ] & he goes then to that one..

It always was that way xD

But before that, Ahs decides to abttle Gary with Piakchu and lose again

My feeling tells me he'll lose, as for the series have always had sometwists in it, it could go above our expectations and he'll win with his Pikachu using thunder against a Empoleon or something, I don't know, I think 'No'.

I'm sure Ash's pokemon will all be pretty strong by the end of Sinnoh to, but like always he's going to lose.
The only reason he won orange islands is because there wasn't an orange islands video game.Until they're sure it's going to be the last season of pokemon, I don't see Ash winning any region leagues anytime soon.

He should win and then they should start the next season with a new main character who hates pikachus, but that will never happen, and Ash will just keep on losing.

EDIT:He'd stand a chance if he didn't always ditch all of his old pokemon.

I'm actually going to go out on a limb and say he wins the Sinnoh League. It's just a gut feeling I have, as who knows how long the series will go on and he needs at least some credibility besides winning the Orange League which seems to be pointless anyway.

That being said, it doesn't seem like his current team (with my two last predictions) looks to be impressive enough to win it all, but I guess it all depends on who evolves. In my book he kinds of seems screwed unless he calls in the reserves. And we all know the Sinnoh League is where the big Ash-Paul showdown will be where Ash wins and Paul learns that he needs to be friends with his Pokemon ect.

I don't think so. The Sinnoh League is way tougher than the others...~ He may arrive in second place though. ^^~

If he does, it will be about time. But i highly doubt he will this time around (Because he recently won Battle Frontier).

Yeah, that's true. But, it doesn't mean that he won the Battle Frontier that he can't win the Sinnoh League though. =P

Oh yeah he won Battle Frontier to...but just like Orange Islands, I get this unofficial feeling from battle frontier.

There is no way Ash will win a canon league. The reason is that it would end the series if he became a champion of any league. Maybe come in second, but there is no way he will actually win.

Could you really see that happening?

Wouldn't you like to see one more Ash/Brock/Misty journey?

I would LIKE for Ash to be dropepd, but ti won't happen. And I think about it like this when people want Ash to leave:
Most charecters get worse and worse, if they made a completely new main charecter it may jsut be annoying.

I say, if this is the last season, and all his rivals come to take him on, and he actually switches pokemon in and out like the Johto and Kanto league battles, then yes he will win, it would be a damn good way to end the series!

if not, which, more likely tahn not, it won't be, then i hope he makes it at least to the top four, if not the final battle against paul or gary(if he decides to compete of course)

What I'd like to see is a Ash/Misty/May/Dawn/Brock series.

Yes. No Max.

because he is going to be a pokemon trainer at the time :V

I don't see why people would want Ash to leave...we would only end up with another Ash-like character anyway. Look at the chronicles, Richie done exactly what Ash would've done

What I'd like to see is a huge reunion. Everyone travels around with Ash! Misty, Tracy, May, Max, Dawn and Brock. Yeah, even Max, Tracy and Brock. They'll end up killing each other off with not getting enough screentime...hurrah! XD Oh, wait I've forgotten what this thread was about

If this is the last gen then yes, Ash will win. If not, then he'll lose. If there's a G/S remake then *maybe* he'll do something in Johto before the next gen's region.

If he actually wins the Sinnoh League, maybe they're make more airtime for Jimmy. You know the Jimmy from Chrinocles. Like how his journey began in Johto and start a series about him. That would be something to see, at least to me. But in true Ash's wins and loses are as follows:

Indigo league: Lost but top 16th
Orange Islands: Won but wondering if it really mint anything in the long run.
Johto League Silver Conference: Lost, but top 8th
Hoenn League: Lost, but I forgot his top rank lol
Battle Frontier: Won, nice final battle, but he cut it close.
Sinnoh League: Not Completed yet LOL

Ash has lost 3 major leagues, but only won 2 minor leagues that did'nt give him any type of master status. I'm still optimistic about Sinnoh through, he has a chance of going all the way if recalls past experiences and knowing what he's doing, and to not repeat past screw ups, ( and if the writers give the guy a chance to win at least one major league in his life lol.) Who knows? If he does win and becomes the champion his journey might still go on, or as stated above Jimmy will get his turn to shine. Only the future knows lol.

I can only hope so, i really doubt it, if only they can make it a seperate series to watch, rather then having one series to continuously follow. That would be so awesome, so that we have a freaking choice. W00T!

Ash wins everything. He won everything already why he would fail.

I think he's a very realistic trainer:

That is to say that he has good and bad days. His Pokemon, if "leveling" were real, would all be way up there in levels and likely dominate anybody. So I like that he loses as often as he wins. It keeps things even, you know?

He was also in top 8 in the Hoenn League. For that member who didn't know.

I'd say, if there is a G/S remake, than that'll be what they do. They will give ash the heave ho, and let him win using all his past pokemon, and all his rivals come to try and beat him. He wins, then they decide to do a Pokemon: Gold and Silver Chronicles! Starring Jimmy! I'm kinda tired of ash, Jimmy impressed me much more.

Just have one journey through one region we don't know and have all the characters (except Max) and they.....

Wait hold up, if Ash loses, he'll be dropped beacuse that's all we see him do in the tourneyes, is lose
