You know what's really lame?
So. When I buy a video game, either one of two things happen:
1) I go OMGYAY and get right to playing with it
2) I go OMG WHAT DID I DO??? and don't touch it forever, and when I do, I angst about it for ages before I actually do it.
For example, when I got Pokemon Pearl, I opened it and started playing without a bat of an eye. Pokemon Colosseum, though, I had to sit on the floor and freak out a bit before I eventually made someone push me to the edge to put the game in and actually play it.
The two worst examples, though, are Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney and Final Fantasy X-2. For the former, I really think it was the fact that I honestly didn't know what I was getting into. I was afraid I wouldn't like it, despite everyone insisting that it was really good. (It is, btw, go buy it now.) So, I bought it in June, and didn't play it until November. For X-2, I think it was more the mixed reviews, it seemed. I bought it fall semester last year and didn't play it in the spring, when I had nothing else better to play. How lame.
I'm really surprised I played TWEWY as soon as I did, though. I didn't know how it'd work, but I got to it within a few days. Not the same day, as I had to work when it came.
But yeah. Right now, I'm delaying playing a game, yet again. Today's game? Persona 4. It looks really good, but... I just don't have the motivation to do it.
Isn't that sad? :(
Wait, blog entries have quick edit now? SWEET!
