Ooh, guess who's back again.

Yes, it is your lovely Anna back from small-town Wisconsin. I spent the last few days working at my grandparent's house in Greenwood. They bought a really old house a while back and are in the process of fixing it up. It's habitable but needs a lot of work. While I was there we got one room done and another halfway- walls sanded, holes filled, paint stripped off the wood, walls cleaned, primed and painted. I had to scrub a grate that goes over the air vents that hadn't been cleaned since before they used coal in the airways. That was gross. We built stairs going up to the porch, too. Much more convenient than scrambling onto a 4-foot high porch to get to the front door. Although it hadn't been too much of a problem since there are two other doors. And it's a small house too.

I'm related to practically everyone in Greenwood in some way. My family is huge- Grandma is one of fifteen or sixteen kids and Grandpa one of eight, and they grew up in Loyal which is an even smaller town right next to Greenwood, which has about 1,000 people by the way. And I'm pretty sure every one of my grandparents' siblings had at least one kid- more likely two or three- and lots of them stayed around the area and had kids of their own so yeah.

Oh and Greenwood is interesting. There are technically laws but the enforced ones are the odd ones. Like you can't have metal fences. But parking lots don't have marks and you can just pull up wherever. And firepits can be anywhere and there are no regulations on them. It's weird. And you can drive ATVs anywhere but up and down Main Street.

Greenwood also has a lot of the mobile elderly. Papers are delivered by 70-year-old ladies whizzing up and down the streets on electric scooters, and most old people still drive around. And my family, being who they are, often get together to party. In which alcohol is copious. So you frequently have all these 60+ year olds being rather drunk and playing card games at one in the morning. Or just wander around with a cooler of beer like Aunt Clarice. She came over a few days ago with a little cooler and 12 bottles of beer and I think drank 10 within the three hours she was there. And then drove three blocks home. I was just like "wtf" the whole time, and playing cribbage with her was... an experience.

SO YEAH I HAD FUN

And new twitter name is @EternalHarkness

And I've found that I adore John Barrowman.

And I'm back to editing Twilight again. Stephenie Meyer really has trouble with commas and unnecessary repetition of simple words.

AND QUIT MODDING PEOPLE WHEN I'M GONE GEEZ I'm missing all the important stuff. >:(

@irked_gizka (sorry it seems odd to call you Caliban for some reason) but yes I knew that. And thx for linking because I totally forgot what song it was and did not want to scour Twitter for it.

@Zeffers Root beer floats, I say! You buying?
