So everybody was talking about that Siri thing on the news yesterday and it sounded cool. I never knew it existed so I tried looking it up on the app store.
Nothing there.
So I tried spelling it different ways and stuff and there was still nothing there.
I tried looking at the top 25 to see if I was doing something wrong when I was searching it.
Still nothing there.
So I go on google and look it up -
WHAT DO I SEE.
"Apple kills off original Siri app, tells users to upgrade"
This -- okay. First of all - when I say I'm obsessed with Apple it's an understatement.
MY BIRTHDAY CAKE WAS A THREE DIMENSIONAL APPLE LOGO
I am disgusted, disappointed... I don't know any other synonyms for those words but you get it - I'm just mad omg
First of all Apple has been a dang mess since they came out with the iPad. They should have known that nobody was gonna give a crap about some stupid oversized iPod Touch that was barely even portable, and didn't do anything different from another device that you could fit in your pocket. And they thought because all these fanatics were feeding into this stuff that they could get away with anything.
So then they hype up the new iPhone - acting like it's gonna be the best thing since sliced bread and that it was just gonna blow the whole world away.
They unveil it.
A better camera.
It's faster.
And it has an upgraded version of an app that we could have easily gotten on the app store ourselves, and NOT HAVE TO PAY LIKE $400 TO ACTUALLY USE
I'm glad they finally got Verizon and the other networks but to use most of that stuff you would need a big $30 month plan thing and to me that is just a waste of money when you can easily talk on your cellphone that you're not paying as much for and do everything else on the iPod Touch.
I will not be surprised if they make us wait two years for the iPhone 5 to come out and when it finally does and they've been hyping it up to the point that we go mental they unveil it and it's a different color.
Apple is becoming too popular, and too big, and they've fallen into the trap of the cash cow business industry, and now all they care about is getting our hopes and bills up.

a. Do you even know how successful the iPad is?
b. They didn't hype the new iPhone. That's what people around the world did. Apple doesn't hype things until after it's announced, where they claim it's life changing and revolutionary. Until then, they keep it under lock and key.
c. When have they ever released a new iPhone completely different than the one before it? iPhone, iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S... Are you sensing a pattern?

Without Apple, the world wouldn't be where it is today- not just technologically but with communications and innovation as well.
