Are just getting... newer?

Case in point - when PC was offline for a brief time last time...

Spoiler:

I have never seen this before, until today.

I got that yesterday. I just waited a while and it came back on. xD

But yeah, before yesterday, I had never even heard of CloudFlare. :\

...That must mean they're using CloudFlare to minimize the traffic to the actual server. Since CloudFlare seems to be acting as a proxy inbetween that caches things for a set time period and keeps things like DDoS attacks...or just a wild legitimate spike in traffic, at bay.

LOOKS like they recently implemented Cloudflare's CDN services.

I've never known PC to have an IPv6 address before, even if it were running on a Dual Stacked server.

    Confirmed it with pathping.

    Quoted from them:

    "Automatic IPv6

Make your site available to visitors on IPv6 networks with the click of a button. No need to rush to upgrade your infrastructure. Keep your IPv4 infrastructure until you're ready, we'll make it seem to the world you're running a modern dual-stack."

Having this service automatically means that PC has an IPv6 address.

Yeah, exactly. That's why I figured they were using Cloudflare. PC never had one before...and Steve didn't seem eager to mess with the server to make it have one.

I think they're implementing new measures to prevent Pokemon from accessing the internet.
