One lesson learned today when it comes to PC gaming

Remind me to not play PC games at 1080p. My 9800GTX+ can barely take it, and it makes everything look too sharp in the process. What's the use of a super-high resolution when your game chugs or ends up having settings downgraded? Balance is key to everything.
That said... I'm pretty sure this also applies to pretty much everything. Am I right, or am I not?
