Blah blah previous entry for more stuff about this
This blog entry is fair warning that I'll frequently pick old music. Frequently. (Gasp!) But I don't care because it's got a lot of great stuff!
As an example, the next song is one called 25 or 6 to 4, by Chicago. If that title is confusing, just think of that along the lines of time; twenty-five or (twenty-)six minutes to four.
Alternate link!
Live version! Shorter (whole verse skipped) but you can see a ~*sparkly*~ guitar. (It's blue!) Also worth listening to imo.
Lyrics!
Highlights - that guitar solo at around two minutes. Get some headphones, turn up the volume and just listen to that. The brass is pretty neat to listen to as well.
The lyrics are quite likely about the songwriter unable to sleep early in the morning while trying to write song lyrics. I say likely because if you google about there's the claim that it's about drugs. The songwriter said it wasn't about drugs, so people said him saying it wasn't about drugs clearly means it must be about drugs, but in the end, who cares? It's a good song. =p
