n. the realization that each random passerby is living a life as vivid and complex as your own—populated with their own ambitions, friends, routines, worries and inherited craziness—an epic story that continues invisibly around you like an anthill sprawling deep underground, with elaborate passageways to thousands of other lives that you’ll never know existed, in which you might appear only once, as an extra sipping coffee in the background, as a blur of traffic passing on the highway, as a lighted window at dusk.
Okay Gen V, let's do this!

So! With the completion of both Pokémon Black and Pokémon White, I am so very let down in some aspects. BEAR WITH ME HERE, I'm not just being totally late to the bandwagon! While graphics are really not a big deal to me, I can say that I was pretty impressed in general. I mean, I know GameFreak have been using 3D models since 2005/6, I'm happy that their first real utilization of the 3D went down pretty well. The storyline being an improvement on previous and so on, but man was a annoyed with the post-game experience!
So I'm totally pumped for Grey/Gray, to be released this Saturday. Check here for a reference. I think I'm actually gonna go all out this time, with the experience. Not going to spoil myself too much with pre-release screenshots and so on. But boy do I hope they improve on some things, I don't want this to just be like a re-release of B&W. It desperately needs an after game adventure and a hell of a lot more to do than just go see the few remaining towns and routes. Also was it just me or were the legendaries a lot less "legendary" feeling in B&W? Regardless, we're most likely going back to Platinum here with the alternate form, I'm hoping that we see a large post-game experience with a sense of storyline to it. While the Battle Frontier in Emerald was a pretty cool addition, it lacked any sense of storyline. Unlike in FR/LG which had a pretty exciting Sevvii Islands quest, which ended up being a lot more entertaining than the main one.
So here's hoping for an actual effort stricken post-game experience in Pokémon Grey/Gray and not just another rehash of B&W. Let's restore my faith in GF and assume they've gotten something up their sleeves. A lot about B&W's finesse was a bit poor and rushed, I await a big improvement on the sequel!

Well Kaori you posted a blog about getting people to post in G&P instead of posting around G&P yourself, so for the same reasons perhaps? Besides I haven't done a proper blog in too long.
I'd be pretty okay with RS remakes too though, but I don't think they'll come out just yet. Way too early. In a way I'm afraid the stickmen overworlds of Gen V could ruin RS for me.Posted February 21st, 2012 at 01:16 AM by Abnegation

I'm going to wait and see if this announcement is actually about a main game. Saying 'oh you should watch this show' doesn't necessarily mean something will be annouced because he said it after being asked about the main games. Could be just opportunistic.
And agreed - BW sure needs some expanding upon imo.Posted February 22nd, 2012 at 01:04 AM by bobandbill
