A problem has been detected and your brain has been shut down to prevent damage

The problem seems to be caused by the following thread:

If this is the first time you've seen this Stop error screen,
restart your brain. If this screen appears again, follow
these steps:
Check to make sure any new threads are checked.
If this is a new installation, ask the PC staff for help.

Disable external and internal distractions.
If you need to use Do Something Else Mode to take a break, restart
your brain, and then stay away from the computer.

It's a good start for refreshing your memory of the whole site, in my opinion. Also brings you interest in some of the threads you check out, and get the grasp of what's in PC's corners at the moment. It's fun to do it with other people participating, too! So I think there's at least some trace of productive stuff in the event, however meaningless it might seem.
