Random Stuff I've learned this month...

1. Leaf might finally have some real competition in the form of her:

Really though, the new B2/W2 girl looks cute and I'm really liking the skirt/tights combo. And, with this, B2/W2 avoids committing the biggest of my three personal Deadly Sins that would keep me from buying the games... Amazing how one trainer design can restore your faith in the entire franchise xD
2. Sailor Moon can be used to market just about anything in Japan, from swimwear to desks to pastries.
3. The beginning of Team Rocket's resurrection apparently is starting at an anime convention in Columbia, South Carolina where they ran two panels extolling their virtues, including paid benefits and eco-friendly mechs. And apparently Fox News is responsible for their poor reputation - Grunts said so themselves at the con panel.
4. Prevost brand motorcoaches are awesome. Even when they're filled with the interesting cast of characters that are commonplace on Greyhound buses.
5. Clarion is apparently no longer the "upscale" sister brand to Quality Inn... the one I stayed at in Columbia wasn't as nice or had as many amenities as recent Quality Inns I've stayed at - particularly the Quality Suites in Pineville, NC of which I've sung praises about before.
6. There is a hell on earth - and it is called the New Jersey Turnpike.
7. There is another hell on earth - and it is called the NY/NJ Port Authority Bus Terminal.
8. My Leaf cosplay isn't making as big an impact as it used to, sadly.

I'm sorry you had to experience the NJ Turnpike. Or NJ at all.

I blame Greyhound. Their preferred route from SC to where I live in upstate NY takes the bus right up 95, while my family avoids that whole mess altogether.
