    I thought that portraits represent mostly the face and/or expression of the one being portrayed, not the whole body?

    You can live in your pre determined definitions and artistic styles. Myself, I like to break free of those constraints, I feel they hold me back. Don't get me wrong, they're great for amateur artists and all but I'm a pro.
