And the day finally comes....

Honestly I am both excited and sad at the same time. Excited that I've finally made it this far, and that I'll be able to walk the stage (FINALLY. OH MY GOD). I was scared that I wouldn't be able to graduate on time. My days in my old college... I felt lost, insecure, and unsure of my future. I am glad that I've made the decision to transfer so I would finish on time. And I did. Technically I finished back in November. But I won't receive my degree till tomorrow, which is one of the reasons why I am super excited.

The sad part isn't the fact that I may not see my classmates again. It's my family. None of my family members, including my parents or my sister are going to the ceremony. Apparently they have better things to do than to see me graduate, and yes...I have notified them in advance. Got into an argument with my parents while staying in San Diego, haven't talked to them for days, and I guess my sister & brother in law have plans they refuse to tarnish. So pretty much I will attend the ceremony without any loved ones cheering for me, which seems pointless. But I will still have some support from former professors, and classmates.

I should think positive though. I made it this far and I should be happy. But the sadness is probably going to linger.. I'm so emotional, I'll probably end up crying throughout the ceremony.

I promised the guys at #pokemonclubs I'd take pictures of the ceremony. So yep, I'll be posting those soon!

On June 3rd, 2010...I was 19 years old when I joined PC. I had no purpose in joining. I wanted to just find people to talk to about Pokemon, because my irl friends suck at being pokemon fans. :( I was amazed by PC, and its dedication to Pokemon and Pokemon fans themselves.

LETS FAST FORWARD TO TWO YEARS. I'm a moderator, I'm a roleplayer, and I'm a clubber. This past year was just....wow...ginormous. But, what is this *purpose* I'm looking for? I don't know yet. And I'll probably not know.

PC, thank you so much for being there for me. You are my home, my addiction, my escape from the evil boredom monster. I also want to thank you for introducing me to the most AMAZINGLY AWESOME FRIENDS ever. OzCake, Olli, Sector, quilzel, Hayley, Mac, Nica, Derk, Teezee, and SO MANY MORE omg...if i didn't mention you i'm sorry it's a long list lmao

Let's hope for THREE! :3

oh, and in 30 days I'll be modding NU/W for one year! weee!

That really sucks that none of your family are willing to attend such a special and memorial day. I feel for you in that regard. Try not to get too psychologically wrecked when you see your fellow classmates with their families and just try to make the most of your graduation. Best of luck with it all.

Don't let the thought of your relatives not attending your graduation let you down. What matters is that you have other people (your classmates and teachers) to support you.

    And happy 2-year PC-versary.
