Pokemon Gaming Resurgence
I've been getting back into actually playing Pokemon lately and I forgot how much I missed playing it. Here's the games I played recently.
Silver I did a pretty balanced run and kept a full party. I played it on my iPhone so it took me a while to get through the game because I was really only playing it at work when we weren't busy or at school before class started.
Crystal I wanted to play it quick (so I used an emulator for the speed), but I also wanted to play it a little differently because I had just played Silver and they're very much the same game. So I used a GSC Starter Edtior and changed one of the starters to Teddiursa. It's always been on of my favorite pokemon from that era but I never really get to have it in my party because it takes so long before you can actually catch it. So I did a solo run with just Teddiursa and Ursaring. I beat the game and got Ursaring to level 100 in just under 5 hours because the speed feature helped me run though everything so quickly.
Emerald I didn't get all the way through...I got about halfway through the game and got tired with it.
Then I restarted Black. I used to have a DSiXL and I owned White with it, but I sold it last Christmas. So I asked my brother recently if I could borrow his 3DS and copy of Black to play and he begrudgingly agreed. It was harder than I remember it being when I played through it the first time. In my original run of white I only played through 3 badges before I sold the DS...so most of this is a new experience for me. I'm now 6 badges in and I can say that so far Black/White are 2nd least favorite generation. That is not to say that I don't love the games, because I do (I love all main series Pokemon games). It's just not what I remember pokemon being from previous generations.
