Oh yes, I had this planned ever since it came out in Japan. Watched loads of YouTube footage since the Japanese release, kept up with all the coverage since the initial announcement, planning my teams and the whatnot.

The world didn't end as I thought it would, but on Friday I got something even better...

I GOT MY COPIES OF BLACK 2 AND WHITE 2!



Yes, this is what I wanted to announce. My highly anticipated adventure through Unova two years after Black and White is finally here! I had always wanted to play the games myself but I sadly had to wait this long due to not coming out near my birthday, but it's finally happening!

Now, I won't be starting my playthrough until Tuesday but I'm already planning what starter I'll pick (you all know who) and I will be playing as two different genders. A girl in Black 2 and a boy in White 2. And this is the first time I got two versions together which is what makes this special!

And with this I announce a new update I will be implementing in my blogs...


Hikari's Pokemon Black 2 & White 2 Adventure

Yes, in addition to posting in the B2/W2 Travel Journal, I will be also recording my experiences in this here blog. It's going to be awesome, with some extra Hikari smiles on top! I will be recording my team changes here, and also my accomplishments throughout the game.

So yeah, expect more extra awesomeness from this blog in 2013 as I try to become the new Champion of Unova for... well, a second time. Is anyone looking forward to this? I am!

    That's awesome Hikari. As you already know I got Black2 Thursday night (Friday night for you). I'll be going to Walmart for White2 when I get Christmas money to get me a Sinnoh starter! I can't wait to hear of your adventure in Unova on Tuesday.

    You're late to the party lol

    I got my copy of W2 on my birthday too, so I could claim that my adventure start date was my birthday. I blogged about my adventures at first... then my data got deleted mid-November. I had to start again, but I manipulated the DS clock so it still looks like I started on my birthday lol. Didn't bother blogging my adventures after the restart, though... especially since in my new game my starter Oshawott went from being a male to female so obviously its old nickname wouldn't work in my new game xD

    In your B2 file you so should train a Liepard and nickname it "Lisa" lol

    You totally need an Altaria and Lilligant. ;) But that's great you got the games! Your updates will be a nice read, I'm sure. :) I look forward to it and I hope you enjoy the games as much as possible!

    Altaria never suits my battling style, but I may consider Lilligant for one of my teams.
