First Black 2 Playthrough!

So yeah, MERRY CHRISTMAS GUYS!
Today I finally got a copy of Pokémon Black 2, and I was so excited to play through it. In just one day I'm almost ready to battle Clay! I love this game a lot. It definitely revived my love for the 5th Gen where White left me sourly disappointed at times. So anyways, I want to try and re-create my journey!
FIRST OF ALL, my starter of choice was Tepig - shortly abandoned in the PC in place of Riolu, who I consider my "starter" from the moment I realised you could catch him in Floccesy Ranch. My initial reaction to the new section of western Unova was "wow". It's nothing like the rest of Unova, unique in its own way. And kinda reminded me of Sinnoh.
By the time it got to my first Gym Battle with Cheren, I only had a Riolu, at Lv. 15. It was tough considering I only used Riolu, Cheren's Lilipup was quite overwhelming at first. But in the end, I got there. After the battle, obviously I headed out the Virbank City. Growlithe became my second partner after hunting him out at the Virbank Complex. Roxie also proved a bit of a challenge, but nevertheless, I powered on. By this point, my team was a Lv. 19 Riolu and Lv. 17 Growlithe.
PokeStar Studios definitely has my seal of approval. I love that there's yet a new element other than battling to Pokémon. I so wish though, that a Pokeathlon was present, as that is, by far, my favourite mini-game in Pokémon ever. After playing about in the Studios, it was time to head of for Castelia City. After getting through the first Plasma Showdown on Route 20 and the second in the Castelia Sewers, I headed for Burgh, with Riolu and Growlithe both at Lv. 21. Growlithe practically sweeped Burgh's Whirlipede and Leavanny, while Riolu tool care of his tiresome Dwebble. It was here that, at Lv. 22, Riolu evolved into Lucario.
Route 4 looks a lot better after the construction, and I'm going for an explore later. I headed straight for Desert Resort to capture myself a Trapinch - who basically swept the entirety of Elesa's gym with Bulldoze and Rock Slide. After this - I trained hard to level up my pokemon, then headed for Driftveil.
I'm currently training hard to make sure I'm levelled good for Clay, and I really cannot wait to explore the other new locations Unova has to offer in Black 2.
This is my team so far.
Lucario - Level 29
Ability: Steadfast
- Force Palm
- Return
- Bone Rush
- Counter
Growlithe - Level 27
Ability: Intimidate
- Fire Fang
- Flame Wheel
- Leer
- Reversal
Trapinch - Level 28
Ability: Arena Trap
- Rock Slide
- Mud-slap
- Fustration
- Bulldoze
Deerling - Level 30
Ability: Serene Grace
- Jump Kick
- Aromatherapy
- Faint Attack
- Take Down
