Winter Is Coming...

Woo game Of Thrones!
So lately where I live winter has been... depressing. And not because the world is all bleak, it's the opposite! The grass has been turning green already, there's barely any snow. (I probably only still have snow since I live in the woods) It's ironic, since I was wishing winter would be over and now that it's HAPPENING it's saddening haha.
However... WInter Storm Nemo is supposed to happen. They're projecting 12+ inches of snow in my area! This sudden storm feels really surprising after such a warm winter with not very much snow. And I will admit I'm a little scared, as I'm having flash backs of Halloween and the week following in 2011... where there was a huge snow storm that knocked down everything. If we're without power again like last time (which we were out of power for 5 days or so) we're going to be a little screwed. Our fireplace needs electricity to start, and wouldn't you know it so does our gas stove. >_> And this time it's winter so the temperatures will be colder.
Also, I want to hope anyone who will potentially be affected by Nemo will be alright, and that they stay safe! Be really careful, snow is can be scary!

OMG I wish we could get 1 inch of snow let alone 12! It never snows here in Alabama and just last week we were in the 80's in some parts of the state. But, I hope you stay safe from the storm!Posted February 7th, 2013 at 03:43 AM by jellicentfan1
